Avon tyres originate from The United Kingdom. The company's history starts in the end of the 19th century. In 1997 the brand became a part of the American Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Since 2000 the high quality of Avon tyres allowed them to be provided to the F2000 Championships in the USA. 275/70 R16 Tyres

275/70 R16 tyres are designed for delivery vehicles and 4x4s. The size label can be found on the tyre's side. The first number informs about the tread width of the 275/70 R16 tyre. In this case it is 275 mm. The second number equals the tyre profile's height and its percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width (70% out of 235 mm). The last number denotes the diameter of the wheel rim (provided in inches) on which the 275/70 R16 tyres should be installed.
