Technical description: The Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 is a premium-range winter tyre with outstanding driving characteristics. It has a directional tread featuring "horn lugs". These are very wide grooves which evacuate water and improve driving performance on wet and snowy surfaces. The rounded corners of the tread blocks prevent water turbulence below the tyres, further improving drivability. The Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 tyre guarantees extremely accurate handling and rapid responses to the driver's every move. A further benefit of the tyre is that it makes an ideal companion for driver assistance systems (ESP and ABS). Before its market launch, the Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 underwent comprehensive testing at the Swedish Proving Ground test track in the Swedish town of Vidsel. The rigorous tests confirmed the high levels of performance delivered by this model.
