I have a WV Golf V GTI DSG car (200 hp, front wheel drive, the car weighs about 1300 kg), tyre size 225/45 R17 91Y. My previous summer tyres was a Bridgestone Potenza S001 - it was big mistake when it comes to mine car. However, the Continental tyres are really good. I' really happy. The superbly stick in the corners, and their behavior on the dry condition is simply great. The only drawback that I found is behaviour during the braking in wet condition. unlike to Potenz S001 tyres, car then do not dance and the ESP dosn't crazy, but is not perfect. Unfortunately,. the tyres dont prevent your car from skidding and they dont help to eliminate an aquaplaning In addition, the pattern tread looks nice and drive is very comfortable.I do recomment thos tyres, propably I will buy them again.addition, these donuts are quite noisy - but I think these are all UHP. After purchasing and mounted new Continental ContiSportContact5 tyres I was very pleasantly surprised after the very first mile traveled. My car has nearly 400 horses, and I must admit that the tyre did a great job in terms of power and AWD drive. Absolutely perfect perform on dry and wet surfaces. I must admit that I had the opportunity to ride a little in snow and Continental tyres did not disappoint me. They were also tested on the track and gravel roads of asphalt at high speeds. I dont wanna speak to much about wear out because everything depends on the driving style. I highly recommend it to everyone, you will not find a more universal tyres! . A tyre worth attention. It is quiet and comfortable.The only drawback is the very quickly they wear out but the car holds the road very well on dry conditions. Good braking, I drove at high speeds and never had the feel car fell into slippage. It makes you feel their safe, little worse on wet road. Maybe they are bit too soft on wet conditions and car with rear-wheel drive has a tendency to swim. The reason maybe this I drive Audi A4 is quite heavy car with a powerful engine. I drove on them less than 2500 miles. I decided to purchase these tyres because my brother had them in his van. I will rate them properly after some time but now it is too early. The Continental tyres seems to be better than the original Bridgestone Potenza. They performs better on dry and wet roads. The driving comfort is much better and noise level very low. If I had a larger amount, however, would buy Goodyear or Dunlop. My Mazda 6 was driving on winter tyres Goodyear and even at high speeds and on various surfaces they never failed me. I bought those tyres on Oponeo but I did not drive to long on those tyres because the old ones durable almost until the end of the season. In my previous car I had exactly the same model and covered over 15 000 miles. The tyres próvide a good grip in all conditions! An added benefit is the rim protecting .When it comes to tread wearing, I think it depends mainly on the driving style, but I'm very happy. Usually I was looking for some cheep tyres until I saw the test results and it made me think. I realized that that the tire behavior in critical situations for me is more important than the savings. Thats why I decided to buy Continental SportContact 5 tyres. The tyres very comfortable and quiet, just a small minus for durability. Very good tyre for dry and wet asphalt. For very good grip dry with fast start and after the high-speed corners. On wet Continental ContiSportContact 5 demonstrates its second face. The first time I drove, I could not believe that can have such a wet grip. Furthermore, in deep ruts I had no problems with aquaplaning, even this effect does not occur. If you will compare Continental tyres to competition tyres they perform much better. My previous tyres was Uniroyal Rain Sport 2. It was a directional tyre and incomparably more difficult to drive and much noisy, same like Kleber. The Continental tyres are awesome and the only drawback is the price, but the high quality and comfort drivet are worth it. They also looks great on my car. I bought these tyres after having covered a perfect 600,000km with the Sportcontact 2. What can I say? They are perfect tyres, I have never had any feeling of loss of grip, nor has it ever happened that any of the electronic stability control lights have come on, and between these Sportcontact 5 and the 2 I have covered more than 100,000km in all weather conditions. I always thought that the tyres is not worth saving money. Continental ContiSportContact 5 recommended to anyone who cares about safety. Dry road - the car like glued, no slippage. The wet road - just like on dry roads. At higher highway speeds (over 150) is louder. For normal to 100-120km / h is pretty quiet. Alleviating inequality - here to the end not say so as not to look at the assessment - low profile make the job. Overall I would recommend. The next series will also be Continentals. The versatile tyre for cars with high efficiency. The tyres perform very good on dry and wet roads..I have read a lots of comment about short durability because the Continental tyres are very soft but for me it means only a more comfortable rideThis is very imprtant for me even if i have to change the tyre after two seasons. I had big problems with the first purchase of a RSC tyres. I didnt know what model of the tyres i should choose, but the seller helped me choose the right tire for my BMW. The tyre grip the road very well. With the rim protection I am no longer afraid to lend the car to my wife.. The tyres provide excellent braking. If it comes to Continental I have first used ContiSportContact3 on my Ford S-Max. No questions! In the meantime I have bought new car and it was time to buy new tyres. My choice was Continental ContiSportContact 5. It was an excellent choice! The grip is perfect even in sharp turns. No problems with driving in wet conditions. I like very fast, sporty drive on the highway with speed 125 mph and this tyre will never let you down no matter how fast you drive.They are superb. The best tyres I have ever had. I had few different tyres mounted on my car like Michelin HP, Bridgestone Turanza 01, Sprot Dunlop, Pirelli P7, Toyo Proxes but only Continental tyres stick to the road that good. In general, I am very happy with those tyres. The tyre is used in a low-power car for urban driving. They are very quiet and very comrortyble.The tyres generate definitely a lower noise than my previous tyres. I can't complain about those tyres. I bought them last year just before my trip to Germany. The car stick to the road even in the most demanding weather conditions and dosen’t generate any virbation. Not to make my review long, Continental ContiSportContact 5 are perfect! They were fitted to Honda Accord. On these tyres I have drove on European highways and I can only say positively abouth them. This is my third set of Continental tires, before, I had an older model of summer and winter tyres. I am very happy with those tyres., I have mounted them on my car and after drove few first kilometers, I could not stop marveling. My my car is much better, safty and more silent. The tyres grip brilliantly on dry as well as wet roads, even though my car is 5 metres long. It doesn't skid even at excessive speed in sharp corners. The braking distance is really short.
