Tyres bought for the spring. First 2 pieces at the sale price, because I had to replace the previous damaged. When my fitter saw my purchase Ovation VI-388 and find out the price I have paid, he advised to buy another two of them. What did the next day, but the price has increased, unfortunately. Up to today, after driving around 15k I was not disappointed even once. This year was also quite dry so I had not many chances to drive in the wet conditions. But it managed to drive in the rain and after i got in to conclusion that the tyres behave very good. My driving is quite aggressive and fast on both the country lines and motorways. Every day drive several kilometres on gravel and on the field. Tread ware Ovation VI-388 wise is very good. Not wearing too quick. What found really cool is the fact that the tyres have a little bit stiffer sides walls allowing to take tight corners relatively quickly. The only minus: tyres have awful smell rubber in the beginning. In the car, which I was driving it smelled good two weeks. I also suspect that due to its width significantly affect fuel consumption. Hello, I my past drove different cars between 800 k - 1mil . I ride for 27 years and I travel a lot. Tyres bought a Subaru Outback 2.0 D. Tyres on original equipment were Yokohama's and I have to admit that the stability of the tyres amazed me. Including winter tyres Yokohama also drove a total of 90k . And now to the point. Tyres Ovation VI-388 bought really after when I saw them at the fitting station. They looked really good. Fitter informed me that the balancing was not any problem. I decided to take a chance and bought it. 215x55x17. Winter YOKOHAMA robbed me along with alloy wheels. Then I bought Goodyear's. Unfortunately I got puncture on the motorway and stopped immediately. After I got out of the car turned out that tyres need to be replaced with new one. At Ovation VI-388 I drove about 9k. To be honest I was afraid of the quick tread wear on the tyres. None of this ! I bought tyres for Opel Zafira 2.2 DTI with OPC suspension. Already drove on Ovation VI-388 5k and I must admit that I do not have any objections. As far as the noise level is like the other tyres in this size (225/45 / R17), tread ware at a very decent level. Tread deep as in the beginning. Cornering very firmly stick to the road and it is on dry and wet surfaces. When it comes to driving on dry, you are very sure when accelerating and braking. Wet even in stagnant water in the wheelings no problem. These tyres are gernialne and very glad that I bought it. They look good to groove securing rims, and are compared to cheaper branded competitors. The only drawback (though not for everyone, for me) is that on the side do not have a brand that everyone knows. But believe me, the brand has nothing to do with it. The quality of Ovation VI-388 is great. I drove allready on the Pirelli, Michelins, Hankook, Debica. Ovation VI-388 highly recommend. Read more Collapse
