Information on the tyre:
Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa is a tyre for drivers, who want to check their skills on a race track. It is the successor of the popular Pirelli Diablo Corsa III. This ultra-sport tyre is currently the most 'sporty' product of the Italian company which has been approved for use on public roads. Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa has one main purpose which is optimal performance. The designers deliberately focused on the best possible grip in dry conditions and on driving quality. The data and experience gained during WSBK races have helped in the development of this unique technology in distributing forces of rubber with the ground. This area has been maximized to make the entire capacity of the motorcycle fully transferred to the ground. The almost perfect tread pattern helped to create this unique tyre with an excellent image and the land-sea ratio of 7%. The rear tyres of the Diablo Rosso Corsa model are made of a 3-zone compound. Depending on the tread zone, the tyre tread has a different softness. In the central zone, the compound is harder and wear-resistant, whereas broad shoulders are made of new and slightly softer components. They consist of carbon black, reducing their stiffness and accelerating the heating of the tyre. In addition, for side zones, the producer used a resin which is suitable for very high temperatures and high stresses typical of the race track.
