I used these on a Land Rover Defender 90 Tdi for 7 years. They sure grip on asphalt are wet or dry. The strips also offer good traction in snow. They are a reasonable off-road tire that lose to full off-road tires in deep mud. The side walls seem reasonably resistant to rock damage.
