Michelin X-ICE Xi3

3PMSF The presented tyre is marked with 3PMSF symbol (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake). It means that the tyre meets the EU requirements for winter tyres. The symbol is awarded after thorough tests of a tyre model in terms of snow grip.

Michelin X-ICE Xi3 is a winter tyre which comes from our premium range and is rubber-stamped with a 10-year product guarantee. It is established that this tyre retains its performance ability for two times longer than other tyres on the market. It is a well-balanced tyre and performs well at high speed or when manoeuvring. The premium features of this tyre help it to navigate the harshest of winter terrains.

Michelin X-ICE Xi3 is endowed with a dense number of tread blocks which give a 15% improvement on performance on snow-covered or icy roads. These blocks are enhanced with extra biting edges, for a superlative grip on winter roads. The car becomes more stable on tricky winter surfaces and slipping is minimalized.

Michelin X-ICE Xi3 uses a micropump technology embedded in the tyres, to help the fast and effective removal of excess water and slush from the tyre. This enriches the road contact connection of the tyre to the road, giving better control. Furthermore, the tyre makes use of small optimized fins to give more control, stability, and traction on winter surfaces.

Michelin X-ICE Xi3 is made with a rubber compound including silica. This makes the tyre fully-functional even at very low temperatures. This composite also gives great durability, as it boosts the lifespan of the tyre by minimizing wear. Furthermore, it minimizes rolling resistance which encourages lower fuel consumption as well.

Michelin was started by brothers Edouard and Andre Michelin in the year 1889. Around that time the French company created a manufacturing plant for the world's first removable pneumatic tyre. Great promotion of this invention made Michelin’s lofty position in the tyre industry. Michelin products are of a premium quality, and their tyres have won awards in professional tyre tests, repeatedly. They are extremely popular and respected amongst drivers today.
