Hankook Winter i*cept RS2 W452 is a newer, upgraded version of the popular, i* cept RS W442. This tyre is perfect solution for safe driving on winter road surfaces as it delivers responsive, and safe handling, on snowy, icy, wet and muddy roads. The tyre performs well at urban driving, as well as on longer, more tortuous routes too.
Hankook Winter i*cept RS2 W452 uses large multi-direction grooves for better traction on wet surfaces and for safer handling. Further oblique grooves help to remove excess water from under the tread to reduce the danger of aquaplaning. The tread profile has been optimized to provide adequate stability and traction on rain-soaked roads, and it delivers a safe overall experience in inclement weather.
Hankook Winter i*cept RS2 W452 is built using a directional tread pattern and this is furnished with a dense sipe network to allow the tyre to bite into snow or ice to deliver exceptional traction. Compared to its predecessor, groove width and the length have been enlarged for better traction on snow and for an improved road connection.
The construction material of the Hankook Winter i*cept RS2 W452 improves manoeuvrability and sensitivity to steering wheel movements. This tread contact area to the road has been enlarged and is fully-functional at very low temperatures, which is reassuring on wet, cold roads. Additionally, the tyre performs superbly on dry roads too. The tyre is strengthened to ensure it delivers the most power from the steering wheel to the ground and this ensures the tyre performs dynamic manoeuvres such as changing lane or sharp cornering, precisely and confidently. Overall, it’s a great tyre which has been optimized to be as robust, dynamic and safe as possible on winter roads.
