Tyres are fitted to 22 years old Nissan Terrano II 2.7 I ve had a lot of tyres 215/80R15 and this is the best tyre I ve ever had. Car looks very smart now. Two weeks ago fitted pair of new tyres just after 40000 km. ATRs are really confident and safe to drive in all weather conditions. The grip on grass and wet grass is just perfect. Traction and handling on dry surfaces amazing. Can also recommend these tyres for a people who don’t want to change tyres every season. Handling braking and grip in snow and winter conditions very good. Road grip is almost as good in both dry and wet for a good road tyre for SUVs. Excellent in deep mud, almost indescribable gravel see down with gravel and dirt in a car without ABS brakes on lean and notes that slows be without slipping and without locking the wheels let you of indescribable wonder face. Still good traction in sand and great hard rock, self-cleaning maintains a very high level. Normally ON wheels they are bad or acceptable in OFF ROAD and vice versa. I recommend Pirelli Scorpion ATR as specified by the manufacturer, and in my opinion has managed to combine the characteristics of on and off road tyres. In fact the all year round tyres I can say that they are very good comfortable and quiet. Very good grip on the dry and wet roads. I would recommend not only 4x4. Second set, I bought for Mark 4 1973 with rear wheel drive and I’m surprised how good grip they have on wet roads. I had previously Goodride fitted. They were generally good and quiet in summer, but wet snow totally bad. After one year of use was perhaps 4-5 mm tread only left. Pirelli even they are more expensive, really recommend it. So far very happy with them. I have no problems at all with the wet weather in the UK, Ive made a great trip to France and Switzerland during last winter with lots of snow on the road and ice well . Of course, you should be careful with the ice that they are not snow tires, but Yiu will never be in big trouble. A good choice balalanced tire. I think the consumer could pc their weak point.
