Avon tyres originate from The United Kingdom. The company's history starts in the end of the 19th century. In 1997 the brand became a part of the American Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. 225/45 R16 Tyres

225/45 R16 tyres are designed for cars with great engine power, executive cars and luxury vehicles included. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall in a form of a string of signs. The first number informs about the tread width of the 225/45 R16 tyre, in this case it is 225 mm. The second number equals the percentage ratio of the tyre's profile height to its tread width, here 45% out of 225 mm. The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction while the number 16 (in inches) is the diameter of the wheel rim on which the 225/45 R16 tyre should be installed.
