Nokian Tyres WR SUV 3 295/40 R20 110 V XL

I've just taken them off because decided to change the tyres to summer ones. In winter I did approximately 8.000 miles. The tread wear indicator still shows the maximum value which is 8 mm on the rear tyres and 7 mm on the fron ones. I think it's a fantastic result taking into consideration the fact that my vehicle is a heavy SUV. I like the tread wear indicator - it is really useful. The tyres are very responsive, they react very quickly when you move the steering wheel. It has to be underlined that they are very quiet. We did not have much snow but their grip on a wet surface, ice and in mud during off-road driving is excellent. I only once had an emergency braking and the tyres behaved as I expected. I needed a set of new summer tyres and on the basis of the first comment I ordered Nokian as well. I'll write a review at the appropriate time. Read more Collapse

My vehicle is Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2, 4x4 wheel drive. Driving in a city is very relaxing and comfortable. The tyres are doing well in wet weather. My car drives like it was sticked to the road. The best thing is that they are reliable even while driving uphill in sand. I could do amazing offroad things with these tyres. Only my friend on a quad was able to repeat them (of course the mentioned quad had different tyres mounted). Even UAZ, Mercedes G (the old model) and Ford Ranger couldn't get through certain roads. My Mitsubishi sticks to the road also on highways while driving 130 mph. I highly recommend these tyres. I had some Bridgestone Dueler previously mounted on my car, as original equipment. They were not as good as the Nokian WR SUV 3. I'm satisfied with my purchase. The tyres are wider than my previous ones and the car looks better. Read more Collapse

Hello, I've been driving on these tyres for about a year. The size I need for my car is Nokian WR SUV 3 275/50R20 109 H but earlier I had exactly the same set mounted on my Volvo XC90, 18" wheels. In both cases the tyres did their job, especially in difficult winter conditions such as snow, glaze, slush. I didn't notice any skidding issues. You may have an impression that in less demanding winter conditions like wet or dry asphalt, the tyres seem to be soft and quiet. I can't say a bad word about these tyres. I do recommend the Nokian WR SUV 3 tyres. The only tyre I could compare to Nokian is Goodyear Ultra Grip. Read more Collapse

When it comes to winter tyres dedicated to Nissan Qashqai with 18" wheels there is a very little choice. You can get either Chinese budget tyres, which, in my opinion, aren't trustworthy or Pirelli and Dunlop tyres price of which is extremely high. The Nokian WR SUV 3 could be a bit cheaper but I think that it still has good quality to price ratio. I know I have very good tyres belonging to premium segment. Unfortunately, I didn't have an opportunity to test them in snow. We'll see how do they behave after 2-3 seasons. My experience tells me that new winter tyres are always better than old ones. This is the first time I decided to purchase the Nokian WR SUV 3 tyres. I'm surprised in a positive way by characteristics of these tyres. They are very good, especially while driving on German highways. When it comes to their durability, it is too early to say something about it. However, after doing first 5.000 miles they still look and behave like they were brand-new. Their performance in snow and slush is just perfect. Despite the fact that they are RunFlats, they are much more comfortable than my summer Pirelli tyres. I would like to highly recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse
