Bridgestone Turanza 6 - User reviews

After about 7k km so far very good riding experience. I previously rode the Turanza T001 and I think they were a bit softer, but I don't remember if they had a protective rim. It is possible that they are harder because of this. New tyre so so far so good, I haven't had any slippage on the snaffles on the expressways so they stick well. At first the difference I noticed from the previous tyres was the low rolling resistance. You could feel that the car was propelling itself even on a slight incline without the help of the engine, and the tyres didn't get in the way. A nice feeling. When I bought there were few reviews on this tyre, but I took a chance and so far I am satisfied. I recommend.

I've been buying Bridgestone tyres for a dozen years now and with each newer model the fun of driving gets better and better. I bought the latest generation of tyres this year and have so far driven over 10000 km on them. I am very impressed with the excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The tyres are quiet and do not vibrate at high speeds. Dynamic cornering and braking in the wet are not a problem and do not give a feeling of danger or uncertainty behind the wheel. Previously, I rode the Turanza T005 and I must say that the difference is huge in every parameter compared. In summary, if you drive a lot and want safety and an irresistible feeling of comfort, there is no need to save money by choosing a tyre from another class or company - the Bridgestone Turanza 6 is the only right choice :-)

Very good. This is the third set I have owned. Upon receipt of the shipment, I was positively surprised by the weight and the softness of the rubber. Subjectively a huge difference from the Turanza 5, which I bought (unfortunately) a few months earlier. No surprises in use - nothing to complain about. The previous bridgestones did a lot of km - I replaced them due to age rather than wear and tear, as long as the durability is the same, I see no drawbacks. Plus good looks and a large protective rim. I also considered Uniroyal, but chose (due to better durability) Bridgstones.

I have recently become the owner of a Seat Leon III station wagon, which I will be doing around 20-25,000 km a year, and I needed tyres that would give me confidence behind the wheel. After driving about 5,000 km, I can say that this tyre is really high quality. Yes, it can be made to skid on wet roads, but you really have to make an effort. The braking distance is short, and on bends, going downhill, you can push the accelerator and not be afraid to slip. The tyres are very quiet. Overall, if I were to buy them again, I would definitely take them.

Very good tyres. Well warmed up on dry pavement, they do not buckle even when lost with the throttle down and traction control off. I have not yet tested the limits on bends, but dynamic cornering is not a problem. The big surprise is the wet behaviour. Much better grip than my previous Michelin Pilot Sport 4. Both at take-off and in corners. A thoroughly successful purchase. Time will tell how the durability will be.

The tyres are performing superbly. Compared to the earlier Pilot Sport 4s they are much quieter and the fuel consumption on the road is little but noticeably lower. I know these tyres are in different leagues, but I think the earlier tyres were chosen little appropriately for a car with an undersized two-litre diesel. I would recommend the Bridgestones, they are quiet, and with the quattro I have never had it ever lose grip, and I happen to go faster :)

Very quiet tyres. Much quieter than the Continental tyres that were fitted when I bought the car. At the beginning of the car's life, the car was not very precise at higher speeds (over 180 km), which disappointed me at first. Fortunately, after about a thousand kilometres they started to behave much better. I have now covered about 11,000 km with these tyres and can honestly recommend them.

Great tyre, I was thinking about buying, I was considering other brands, I needed a premium tyre but at a price commensurate with the quality, quiet, soft with a classic tread design. I found all this in the new BRIDGESTONE TURANZA 6. I think I made a great choice, as comfort is the most important thing for me. A tyre worth recommending, it really is worth it.

I switched from Debica to Bridgestone and you can feel the change especially in the wet. On dry you really have to overdo it to get into a skid. Even so, it doesn't slip like the Debica. As for durability it's hard to say because it's only the first season. I'll have a comparison after 3 years as the Debica Presto cracked after that long.

I have been using Bridgestone for years on motorbikes and cars. I have tested all the premium brands. The Turanza 6 supposedly have new technology and are even more durable, which I will be able to judge with time. Track tests look promising. When it comes to quality and price, only Bridgestone or a little more expensive Michelin.
