    Opinion from outside IE

I drove over 2000 miles and the tires perform very well on asphalt and other roads. At speeds estimated 180 kmh is not serious noise may be heard, the car performed safely and stably. Earlier purchase of premium Goodyear Eagle tires but honestly, I do not see a big difference in the behavior of the tire while the difference is large in the portfolio, and for me their benefits should be on an equal footing with Premium tires budgets. I recommend. Read more Collapse

I rolled the tire over 1000 km. The tire itself is okay, but at speeds of 140-150 km and above conductive tracks heard. The listening area and has about mokres adequate quality, we can say that at this price you can not expect luxury, however, so that advantage is + -. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside IE

When I decided to buy Nankang NS 2 205/45 R17 I did it with a little fear of what may they turn out to be. As it turned out, it was completely unnecessary. These summer tyres proved to be great! They seem even better than my previous ones – Bridgestone Turanza’s. Nankang’s are easier to drive on, they have an exceptional grip on both on wet and dry roads, and what is the best, they use less fuel. Let me focus on the grip on wet roads. For me, it was always a great unknown, I was a bit of afraid, to be frank. But Nankang NS 2 have not failed me on my tour through the high humidity of the British Isles. They disperse water like a dream, and stick to the road as if they were glued to it. As for aquaplaning, I don’t know, I’m no expert, but I have to say, it was raining like hell and it didn’t bother the tyres. Just to sum it up, I highly recommend Nankang NS 2, as they are really, really good tyres. My friend who has the same car as me, bought Toyo Proxes, as he didn’t want to buy something he doesn’t know. He’s now jealous, ‘cause he paid more, and on wet roads they behave as if they were on the hockey rink  Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside IE

Large donuts like 215/50R17 are usually expensive. Since now I preferred well-known brands, as I was confident ‘bout them. For summer I had Uniroyal Rainsport 2, for winter Continental Winter Contact’s. Their prices were big, yeah, but I never had to doubt wheter I’m safe in my car or not. After a long search I stumbled upon the brand I didn’t know, which are Nankang NS 2. I won’t lie, a massive influence on my choice was my contact with the guy who’s into motorsport, and often rac-es internationally. He told me they were great, and positively seen in the world of motorsport. In Scandinavia, Nankang is told to be a great success, but even in Australia and the United Kingdom the positive rumors about ‘em start to spread. I’d like to add that this manufacturer has been around for decades, so they are definitely experienced. To sum up, I am happy with them as I don’t see a point in paying more than 90 quid per tyre, especially when it does match with accepted standards. I highly recommend them! Read more Collapse

Nankang NS 2

The Nankang NS 2 is a summer tyre with a directional tread pattern, which offers optimal performance in different weather conditions. Its wide grooves quickly disperse water, minimising the risk of aquaplaning, meaning that the car maintains its grip on the road, even in heavy downpours.

The unique tread design and the use of an innovative rubber compound have helped reduce noise levels, making driving on Nankang NS 2 tyres a comfortable and quiet experience.

The tyre's reinforced shoulder area provides an excellent smooth performance on uneven surfaces, whilst also ensuring driving stability and good traction. The model is also resistant to mechanical damage and wears evenly, guaranteeing its full performance specifications for its entire lifetime.

Nankang

Nankang was founded in Taiwan in 1959. In the 1970s the company opened a branch in Australia, where it remains extremely popular to this day. The brand later exported its tyres to the USA, South America and Europe and in 1991 Nankang received the CE marking, certifying that its products comply with European Union directives. Four years before that, Nankang received a Q1 certificate from the Ford Motor Company (the company has worked together with the Ford group for many years). Nankang also owns the brands Sonar Tire (car tyres) and Roadiac (motorcycle tyres).
