Nankang Tyres

Manufacturer's rating
3.9
based on 1135 reviews
According to Nankang's mission statement, what is most important for the company is meeting customer expectations. The brand's motto is "honesty, pragmatism and innovation". During production, emphasis is placed on soundness and durability, while maintaining performance on the road.

Nankang is a Taiwanese company with over 50 years of experience, and learnt about tyre manufacturing from the best — the Japanese. The R&D department keeps up with the times and offers modern tyres at very attractive prices (the brand is considered to be in the economy market segment).

Many European drivers have already opted for the Nankang brand of tyres. This is a very good option for those who are looking for new tyres, but who do not want the purchase to break the household budget. Nankang offers products including tyres for passenger cars, SUVs, light delivery vans, motorcycles and aircraft.

Interesting facts:

Sonar tyres and Star Performer tyres are among the tyres offered by the Nankang brand.

Although 1959 is considered to be the date when the brand launched, the company's origins date back to 1940, when the first company was set up by the future founders of Nankang.

In addition to the civilian market, Nankang is also active on the military market — it manufactures tyres for military aircraft and combat vehicles.

Nankang tyres are produced at two factories: The first, which dates back to the company's inception, is located in Taiwan, while the second is located in mainland China, in Zhangjiagang.

In 1963, Nankang appeared on the Taiwan Stock Exchange; in 1974, it developed radial tyres for passenger cars, and ones for lorries and buses in 1980; in 1999, it started marketing low-profile Nankang tyres, high-performance tyres in 2001, tyres for SUVs in 2003 and 2008 saw the introduction of a fuel-economy model (Eco-1).

Your service and delivery were excellent. I can not confess your website because it makes it easy to find the right type of tire at the price you want to pay! I would not go anywhere else than "Oponeo" The local mobile mobile phone is available and only charged £ 12 / wheel and in this £ 2 to remove the old tires for recycling. I found your company More >

I usually purchase expensive Dunlop or good brand tyres. These tyres have impressed me. I drive a decent car with lots of power. The weather in Ireland is mostly wet. Last week we had snow and ice. These tyres were every bit as good as the top brands. The car never slides. I have no problems driving around roundabouts even when wet.If I was putting myself, my family or my beloved car at risk I would take these tyres off straight away. More >

I bought these tyres on a recommendation from a friend and they didn't disappoint! I'v always used brand name tyres so this was my first unknown brand. They are very good on wet and dry roads, and also very reassuring through the bends. I have also noticed how much better wear you get from them, Iv done around 3000 miles with them and they still have loads of life left, but as with 'premium' brands I would probably be thinking of changing them by now. The only thing I could fault them on is a slight increase in road noise but this is very negleable. I will be recommending these tyres to friends and family and will also be using them again myself.
