Purchased Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tyres out of a recommendation of a family member with a BMW M3. Previously, i had the great Michelin Sport Pilot, which i must say are very grippy, especially in the dry when there's hot outside. After using good tyres, i had high standards and Toyos did not let me down, the Toyos are not fantastic, but once you have a bit of heat in the tyre, they are like glued to the road. I do a lot of driving in rural and windy roads aswell as 6 laps around the track with the Toyo Proxes T1 Sport and they stepped up to the mark, for the price they are very good. I would have chosen R888 in the first place but they don't make it my size. In the wet, they are as good as Michelin, i run with 350bhp through the front wheels so i turn in 1st and 2nd and 3rd so i'm very glad, but i didn't have much opportunity to test Toyo Proxes T1 Sport on the track in the wet. Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tyres are very good and can be driven on with confidence in both the wet and dry. Very stable and well balanced and provide a quite a smooth ride on rough roads for a sport tyre. Bought to replace the Dunlop tyres to avoid uneven wear. Toyo eliminate this issue. So far i've driven say 17,000 miles on the front of the front wheel drive TDI. However i was using them heavily and they durable tyres. Toyo Proxes T1 Sport are definately worth choosing. In the past, i used the Pirelli tyres, Good Year, etc but now only use Toyos for that car. I work in the auto industry in a technical branch. Tyres can save people's lives and must be replaced at 3mm. Read more Collapse

After purchase, Toyo Proxes T1 Sport i didn't get to feel them much as i sold my car but soon after i bought another set to other car. Once you've set up in the car these performed very well in various harsh environments. Whether on the high speed on narrow roads nothing bad ever happened, so i was not surprised by the good grip they offer. In terms of tyre wear - hard for me to judge after such a short distance. In use around 7000 miles a tyre took a bubble on the side - effect of falling into a hole i couldn't evade in time. All in all Toyo Proxes T1 Sport are to be recommended. Read more Collapse

Toyo Proxes T1 Sport is very good tyre for someone who is driving aggressively. With size 215/55R16 noise should be nonexistent. Very good performance. I made this time perhaps 10k miles to be exact and they aren't bad. It's also difficult to determine the level of response to raod inequities - i have a harder suspension a series of definitions and it gives you more thrills. One thing is certain - the grip on dry roads -it's wicked, in the wet is ok. This survey is a little unfinished theme - did not drive on the snow and ice. These are summer tyres ;-) Read more Collapse

I rolled the Toyo Proxes T1 Sport up to about 20000 miles with BMW 735i car (size 235/50 ZR18). I'm very fast driver and i have a lot of demands concerning tyres. TOYO are fairly quiet (even more than YOKOHAMA i took for my the Mercedes W203) have a good grip and very good road feedback on wet surface. Hydroplaning occurs in the deeper pools at very considerable speed, and even then there is no problem with handling. So far durability of the Toyo Proxes T1 Sport is great as well. The Toyo Proxes T1 Sport is a summer tyre designed for sports cars. Its asymmetric tread pattern is made up of two independent elements, each responsible for different performance elements.

The wide grooves ensure water dispersal and reduce the risk of aquaplaning. Driving on these tyres is completely safe, whilst grip is maintained on any surface and in any conditions.

The tyre is made from a durable and very resistant compound, making it resistant to mechanical damage and tread wear. The manufacturer has also achieved the optimal distribution of pressure, which means that the tyre wears evenly. The innovative compound used to make the tyre reduces its weight and limits rolling resistance, resulting in lower fuel consumption.
