Tyres used in everyday driving in a premium medium class car with a strong diesel engine. The tyres behave as a premium class, they are quite quiet, they provide very good contact and adhesion with the ground, have a large margin of safety, are suitable for both sports and relaxation / economic driving. I have Bridgestone Potenza S001 by an accident to be honest but I do not regret at all. I used to have some other premium class tyre models but after this one I'm Bridgestone fan. This tyre has a very rigid sidewall which makes it very stable and hard to move out from the traction. I think that is the biggest advantage. Doesn't matter how cold it is this tyre performs as usually - remember that it is summer model which makes it quite impressive. I'm not able to make any opinion about external noise becouse I have pretty loud exhaust in my car. I like to drive aggressively and sometimes it happens that I do some drift on the curves but tread doesn't disappear immediately. Quite durable and strong tyre. Overall I would recommend for those who are looking for traction and confident driving and also for users who expect to use tyre for a longer time. Read more Collapse

Tyres fitted on my Seat Leon. I like to drive aggressively and have some fun with speeding. Bridgestone Potenza S001 can handle even the most difficult maneuvers and lets the driver to 'feel' the vehicle which is crucial when it comes to something more than normal everyday driving. Wet and dry grip is excellent. Fuel consumption is on a good level as well. I have seen some opinions that they are noisy but I can not agree personally. It is my first Bridgestone set. I used to have differend tyre brands even from premium class but I have to say that this model is the best for me so far. I can recommend these tyres for everyone without any doubt. If you are a calm driver you will be happy with them and also if you like to drive faster you will be satisfied as well. Read more Collapse

Bridgestone Potenza S001 is a tyre of the highest class, which guarantees top-level performance. The asymmetric tread model has been precisely developed. Its design was inspired by the experience gained while working on RE050A model. The tyre is ideal for strong sporty cars.

Safety always comes first though. Bridgestone Potenza S001 maintains full grip on dry and wet surfaces, even when driving at higher speeds. An optimally designed system of cuts in the tread stiffens the tyre, increasing the contact area between the tread and the road. This design improves manoeuvring and cornering, facilitating dynamic driving. The grooves in the inner part of the tread quickly evacuate water outside of the tire to protect it against dangerous aquaplaning. On the other hand, solid blocks on the outer part help to maintain stability on dry roads.

Bridgestone Potenza S001 has a structure that reduces noise and vibration, ensuring high travelling comfort.. Its silica rubber compound not only improves grip on wet roads, but also protects the tyre against rapid wear and reduces fuel consumption (low rolling resistance).
