Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 is the successor to the Hankook Ventus Prime2 K115, and contrasted with its predecessor it accomplishes around 12% better steering on dry streets, 13% better steering on a wet street, a couple percent better braking on dry and wet streets as well.

Hankook have made a tyre with the ideal harmony of safety and performance. All signs are that they have succeeded. Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 is a tyre that the braking power in the wet was improved by up to 8% contrasted with the previous model. This was accomplished by using 4 wide circumferential notches for upgraded wet execution. These sections are diverse in depth, and allow the tyre to quickly remove excess water. This design additionally decreases aquaplaning dangers.

With the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 the Korean maker chose to expand the solidness of the tyre and the tyre contact area with the street. This boosts the stability of the tyre and also the stopping power on dry streets.

A trademark highlight of the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 is its improved profile. This permits the tyre to deliver smoother, more fluid driving. Critical components on this tyre model are the external rib or rib type tread. These components consolidate to give magnificent security, particularly at high speeds. Besides, the rib tread plan gives better mobility, and it likewise it lessens the moving resistance.

Driving mainly in city traffic, 3-4 times a week on a fast-moving road, about 20 km, at 120-140 km / h. One trip to Croatia 2,700 km. tyres on a wet surface in this price range do not have equal for me. I rate them better than the highly praised Uniroyal Rainsport 3 due to the stiffer sidewall, which in narrow arches on the road of quick movement with a limit of 70 km / h (100-120 turn depending on conditions) gives a greater sense of stability and predictability of vehicle behavior . In addition, Hankook has a protective rim, which unfortunately is missing in Uniroyal. The only thing that is slightly lower than the Uniroyal, is the tread design, but for me it is marginal considerably. On the dry surface also referring to the above Uniroyal both behave similarly. Both in a fast, very tight bend on the city road lose traction at a similar moment. Considering the fact that in our climate about 50% of days is with rainfall and all the above advantages, the next choice for a car used on a daily basis will fall on the Hankook Ventus Prime K125. I definitely recommend this tyre to a user who enjoys a smooth ride, as well as a slightly more aggressive style. Very predictable and safe. Read more Collapse

Brand new tyres set fitted this year. I will make an opinion but note that I drove on them just about 1000 miles so far. Really nice tyre in general, more quite that my previous one. If it comes to fuel consumption I can't really say anything yet. I have them for too short time obviously. Good traction and driving comfort. I used them in different weather conditions alreday: 5 degress below zero and almost 30 on plus. No difference and same performance. Few times I had an opportunity to test them on the rain and same effect. Once I had to drive in strong downpour, with bicycles on the roof so it was not fast driving, but still I felt safe and confident. One day I had to drive over the high curb when I was towing another car and sidewall of the tyre hit on mentioned curb. Nothing wrong happend to the tyre, no damage at all. There was not too many hard and critical situations so far becouse I have them for short time still but I'm quite sure that it is really good quality product. I can recommend Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 with clear conscience. Read more Collapse

It is new model on the market so I have them fitted for couple of weeks now, from the begining of the season. I'm really satisfied so far. Absolutely can't complain for traction either on dry or wet asphalt. Driving comfort seems to be quite good. Appearance is great - tyres looks great, even better in reality that on the picture:) Maybe the external noise level can be small disadvantage but it is nothing when it comes to the quality of the whole product. Surely it shouldn't be a reason to resign from the purchase in this case. Label is all right: A for wet grip and C for rolling resistance. Noise level is in the midlle clas but as far as I know that is the best possible score for this quality level and it is quite hard to find tyre model with similar label. I can't say anything about durability obviously yet becouse I don't have them even for the full season yet. However, customer's opinions about different Hankook models are positive about this aspect so I'm sure that Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 will be enough for few seasons. Read more Collapse

I was looking for new tyres for some longer time and finally I found Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125. Price was not the only reason for me. The most important thing was that it is a new model on the market and I decided to give it a chance. Every new product has to have something special, better that older products. I have to say it was perfect choice. Traction is great and I can feel no difference on dry or wet road. Revelation. I often drive on low quality roads and driving comfort on some more difficult surface is excellent. Also they are quieter than other tyres from well known brands in my opinion. I have trust in Hankook company and always have nothing to regret. Price is attractive and I belive that they have really good technology and production process. Braking distance is shorter than in previous models. What more can be said is that fuel consumption has decreased and comfort is slightly better. All of this means that Hankook company is doing really good job with imroving their products. Read more Collapse

I have used them for rather short time but enough to make my own opinion. Hankook Ventus Prime 3 K125 can handle almost every driving situation in the city and highway as well. Wet grip deserves for a special prise. Sometimes I felt like there is no water on the road at all. Of course it is necessary to drive sensibly, does not matter what tyres are fitted. Braking is really good also. Once, when I had to stop the car immediately I had no problem to do so and it saves me some troubles. I can not say anything wrong about it. Noise is on the low level. You can hear it but it is not inconvenient at all. Fuel efficiency is pretty much the same like for any other tyre models which I used. Recommended. Read more Collapse

I have Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 from short time but I can say a few good words about them already:) Rainy weather or dry road - no difference at all. Excellent. I was a bit afraid it if will be too soft tyre for my car but I was wrong about it. I'm totally satisfied with the purchase. I have brand new set of tyres and I feel confident on the road. No noise at all - I can hear only engine. I will never again buy second hand tyres for sure. Now I know that new tyre is so much better and safer. Of course someone can say that this Hankook model is not the best one but this would be one opinion between so many positive voices. For sure my next set of tyres will be brand new Hankook:) Read more Collapse

Hello. I would like to share my opinion about Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125. I had problem what tyre model I should chose for myself. I used to have previous model Ventus Prime2 so I decided to check a new one. Good choice. Maybe my car is not the fastest one but still driving on this tyres is really nice. Traction on dry road is all right. On wet road I always drive slower than usually but with Hankooks I fell completely safe. They are not noisy. I have to drive 80 miles every day to my job and no serious signs of wear yet. I recommend this tyre for anyone who have a problem with a choice - you will not regret at all! Read more Collapse

Very good tyre for wet and dry roads! Permanent. It's good at cornering, super braking, wet even better, within reasonable speed. The only minus is the comfort, but to comfort I will say that the neighbor on the new Volvo with the Michelin Primacy 3 is even less satisfied, and I write this because the previous tyres on this car is Michelin Primacy HP - they fell after 35 thousand. At this price it is really worth it, subsidizing the text does not make any sense. I've worked in a smaller size 4 "super" brand and I will never come back to the topic. For the difference in price you can have 2 sets at the same time. Read more Collapse

Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 is definitely worth the money. I was pretty sure that I will buy some premium class model but advised by a friend on mine I changed my mind and there is nothing to regret. Some money saved and I have decent tyres. They are quiet up to 80 mph. Driving comfort and grip (both - on the wet and dry road) are great. Safe tyres for sure. The small disadvantage may be the fuel efficiency which increased slightly when I fitted them. I can not say anything about durability yet, I have them too short. Recommended for them who are struggling to decide what to buy. Read more Collapse

I bought them about a month ago. Shortly I will make more than thousand miles on them and I must admit that Hankook Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 is absolutely perfect. I can not say anything about durability though, I have them for to short time simply. Noise and the fuel efficiency are not the most important for me too. The main thing is the grip and it is just great. I never had even one situation when I lost the control of the vehicle. Wet road, rainy weather or sunny day - no difference for this tyre model. I am really impressed. All the best and try them! Read more Collapse

Well, I have used many different tyres. I had some chinese models, some premium and middle class tyres and I feel just safer on Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 though. They provide a good support for a driver. It is hard to lose the control of the vehicle. It is possible to drive on the wet and drive road almost the same. Noise is on the acceptable level, it is almost not hearable. I have not spotted any major difference if it comes to a fuel efficiency. Great value to the price and I can recommend them. I used many different tyre models so far but Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 is the best one for me. They are just great. It is hard for me to find some disadvantage and remember that it is not premium class product but it should be in my opinion. You can drive quite fast and still control the vehicle. You can brake quickly if you need to. Label scores are good, almost on the premium tyres level. Tread looks nice. I can not expect more. Especially for this this money. Truly recommended. Really good tyre model. Price is attractive and in my opinion not too high for someone who do not want to buy chinese tyres and in the same time can not afford to go for some top level products. The only thing which could be better is the noise level but you can not expect to have perfect tyres for any kind on the money. Noise is not the most important thing though. I recommend tyres for the winter when it comes to budget tyres they are one of the better but already on wet surfaces are slightly slippery. Another disadvantage of this quick wear may be greater in my case because I travel 90% on the motorway. At the speed of 200km / h driving on a wet surface you can hear a very heavy whistling sound, but in the end it's winter tyres so it's no wonder the very soft compound in the cold works. To sum up how I can recommend for this price. Read more Collapse

After more than thousand miles I can say that Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 has really good driving features. Basically everything is on a decent level. Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 provides immediate reaction on the dry road. If you need to stop the car just press the brake. There is no difference if it is the straight road or some corner for example. Little bit worst on the wet asphalt but still it is the highest safety level. I have Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 IE from few months now and I am satisfied. They provide safety when driving in the rainy weather and then of course on sunny days too. Noise level is not too high so it does not affect the driving comfort really. It is first time when I decided to buy Hankook tyres but it is really possible that I will choose some model from them again in the future. Read more Collapse

Great tread durability, acceptable noise level, low rolling resistance, attractive price compared to the premium class models. Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 seems to be a perfect choice so I decided to try them. I am really satisfied so far but I have them fitted just from a few weeks so I can not tell for sure that they as good as all the test and opinions says. Recommended so far. Read more Collapse

I can not drive a slow car and these tyres give me a feeling of firm grip, otherwise my fuel consumption has dropped by 1-2l / 100 km. They behave decently on wet surfaces. They could dampen more, but it is ok for this amount of sidewall. I traveled mainly in 300-500 km routes, I have been using them since the end of April and I'm happy - I recommend Read more Collapse

Very good grip on wet and dry surfaces. The revelation on wet corners - I had the opportunity to check. Somewhat surprised by the relatively high noise emission (although not very bothersome) - in the tests this parameter looked very good. Earlier tyres I had from the lower shelf, and yet were a bit quieter. Overall, I am very happy with them. Read more Collapse

Hi, I bought the Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125 tyres after the recommendation of the Oponeo customer service advisor and I was absolutely not disappointed. These tyres perfectly hold in curves on both dry and wet surfaces. I also have no objections to the noise level. The "fresh" look of the tyres also deserves a positive result. Regards. The tyres are good, they are okay and there is little that can surprise the driver. Very positive feelings in the wet, overcoming puddles in the bends is safe.
