Pressure sensors are required for cars factory fitted with the TPMS pressure control system. It is possible to refit a factory sensor to a new rim, but there is a high risk of damaging it on removal. For older cars that do not have such a system, new valves will be required. These are not included with the rim, they must be purchased separately.
