I bought Dunlop SP SportMaxx RT 235/45 R17 94 Y this year and I have not done a lot of miles on them, but I can already tell that the price I spent, although not small, was very much worth it. Previously, I had NEXEN tyres in the same size and driving on them was like they were made of wood and I thought my power steering was broken. The new ones are very quiet, grip the road very well and most importantly you can see a colossal difference in fuel consumption to the previous ones. It has dropped by 1 litre/100km. I am amazed. Thus, they pay for themselves with savings. They are soft rubbers, so they will wear faster, but it is still worth it because of the fuel savings. In general, I chose them after having previously bought the Dunlop winter tyres, which were just as sensational and quiet as the summer tyres. Read more Collapse

The tyre is excellent, great in the dry and even better in the wet. The distance driven to date is about 18000, it absorbs bumps very well, it is very well made (no vibration), in wet it takes a lot of effort to lose grip, braking is sensational. The only thing I can complain about is the noise at temperatures of approx. 12-13 °C. At temperatures above ...and especially above 20 °C it is quiet. So far, abrasion resistance is normal, I think that for about 50-60 thousand kilometres it should be enough. I would highly recommend it to those looking for a compromise between excellent grip and comfort... and to those who still struggle with micro vibrations resulting from poor workmanship of even branded tyres (Bridgestone) I recommend Read more Collapse

I had contact with the tyres for about 2,500 miles, and then sold the whole wheels. The first feature is that it impresses with light rolling, low noise and high comfort, despite the relatively low profile 225/45. These features unfortunately reflect the precision of driving - the tyre has smooth sides and floats in fast corners. Grip on dry and wet roads is first class, which gives a very reliable result. Unfortunately, low durability is unacceptable to me, especially in a car with high torque. Even in such a short distance I noticed a significant loss of tread - tyres to over 10,000 miles of dynamic driving. Performance shows low durability and makes me not to buy them anymore. They grip the road in a great way on twisty mountain roads, very well on winding roads where you travel at high speeds, resistance on highways is very good, in a word, a good tyre, but ONLY on tarmac. Previously, I had Conti Sport 3, they were great both on asphalt and on gravel or dirt roads. These Dunlop tyres dance like stars on dirt roads. They are made of a very soft compound, which makes them wear quickly, but they stick nicely on asphalt - something for something. For the future, I'll be looking for tyres that are effective in the woods or on country roads and at the same time provide excellent performance on asphalt - in my opinion, the Conti sport 3 were just that... I chose the tyre because of its good test results. In fact, according to the parameters evaluated (grip, rolling resistance), the tyre performs very well. The rubber compound is very soft, which means that it has very good traction on wet asphalt, but at the expense of rapid wear. The tyre is light, which probably has an impact on fuel consumption. It also has very soft sidewalls, which makes for a comfortable ride, but unfortunately it has very poor steering response. Due to the very poor steering characteristics, I now have Bridgestone Potenza RE050A, which is harder and stiffer on the sides and therefore very responsive. Read more Collapse

I bought the tyres in July 2014, Dunlop Sport Max, production March 2014 in Germany and I can in all conscience recommend them to everyone, I was considering continental and michelin, but after reading some negative reviews I decided on dunlop, Top class and I do not think there is anything better on the market, sensational tyres, exemplary grip on dry and wet, speed 180 and the car runs as if it was glued to the asphalt, braking in the rain sensational, great grip on turns, quiet, have a protective groove on the alloy wheels, cool looking. I recommend !!! Read more Collapse

I got them with a new Skoda Octavia, I am driving on them for the 3rd season. The tyre makes up for what Skoda messed up with the rear suspension (beam instead of multi-link). Comfort on potholes is questionable with this profile, but on motorways and motorways it is great - quiet, holds the road well. After 3 seasons, if you press well when starting on wet or very hot asphalt, it can squeak. I haven't tried it in winter and don't intend to, as the tread is typically for summer and high speeds. When it's time to change, I think I'll go with Dunlops. Read more Collapse
These are basically the tyres I was looking for. Very reliable, both on wet and dry surfaces, and most importantly for me by far the quietest. I have previously used Michelin Primacy 3, Continental Sport Contact 3 and Sport Contact 5 and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric2. To be honest, the Goodyears seemed to me to be slightly better in the wet, and all of the above tyres apart from the Sport Contact 3 wore out slower, but the Dunlop's quietness compensates for everything... This is important because 245/45 R18 tyres can make a lot of noise... Read more Collapse

I've been thinking about tyres for a long time. The main criteria I considered were driving comfort, performance in the wet... any tyre will do in the dry. I read millions of tests and user reviews. I decided on the Dunlop Sport Maxx RT and I can honestly say I hit the jackpot! It's brilliant in the dry, and in the wet it's on a par with rain tyres. Not cheap but worth every penny. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. The mileage is low at the moment but I hope that my opinion of them will not change over time. Read more Collapse

Excellent tyres in every respect, from design to road holding in all conditions, excellent braking, no problems with loss of grip at the start, even uphill or with brilliant acceleration! Really fantastic and silent rolling! The car is a Fiat Croma and the car has a very good road holding in all conditions, excellent braking, no problem with loss of grip at the start, even uphill or with brilliant acceleration! The car is a 2008 Fiat Croma 1.9 Jtd multijet with 150hp and the Dunlop gives it superior safety! Read more Collapse

The tyre is really excellent in almost every aspect. No problems in wet, no problem on dry asphalt, no impression on this tyre. Sharp bends and gaps are great, my alfa ran like a string. It would have been great if it wasn't for the fact that after one season there was maybe one more tyre left... But I explain it with my driving style. If you are looking for a good tyre that is reliable and not afraid of having to replace it in two seasons then this is the tyre for you. I personally will buy it again. Read more Collapse

Fitted on a BMW E 91 xdrive 3.0 290HP, right after changing the tyres and after my first drive I noticed a total difference in the handling! I have been driving on these tyres for 1 month and have done 1000km and am very satisfied. During this month there were emergency stops) sharp turns, and wet pavement where I also deliberately put the car into emergency situations and one thing I can say - the tyre never gave up!!! Surprised that the price is so attractive but that's just another plus!!!! Read more Collapse

the tyres on the rear drive axle have worn below TWJ 1.6 mm after approx. 7,000 km !!!! evenly across the entire surface. On the front axle they are OK. Can anyone explain this? The manufacturer rejected the complaint blaming all possible causes (roads, driving style, car parameters, etc ...) . The car is still under warranty, it has been checked at the company service and everything is OK. The service department says that it is not the fault of the car. And the circle is closed. I was wondering for a long time which tyre to choose between the Michelin Sp Sport 3 and the Dunlop Sp Sport Max RT . I chose the Dunlop because there is no rim protection on the Michelin Sp Sport 3, the Michelin Sp Sport 3 is no longer in production or it may be out of stock somewhere . The appearance of the tyre also supports the purchase, I think that my opinion will be useful in choosing tyres Read more Collapse

Tires while having good traction on the condition that the rain, they have deteriorated. On dry asphalt is great. As for the noise, it could be better. Their biggest complaint is that they literally disappear in the eyes. I bought my admittedly used after 1 season with a supply of the tread 6 mm. After over 30000 km with me towards that of the stop. Now I change to a different model because these tires u got it to two years with my passes ... Read more Collapse

Best on which I rode. Excellent properties in all conditions, it is difficult for them to fall into a skid, they are very predictable. With sudden braking of the high speed of zero swimming towards fully preserved. In addition, they are very quiet, you can hear a little just above 140 kmh. Oh, and fuel consumption - compared to previous 0,5-1l decreased so much. Worth every penny, even if I am able to buy a brand new disc at low cost. Read more Collapse

Tires purchased at the beginning of April 2016. I changed the Michelin Latitude Tour HP and I must say that after a month of driving'm mega happy. Quiet and keep the car on the road. And the rain is simply a revelation. I got a really strong shower and on the road where there were a lot of puddles and the car felt as if he was driving in the dry. In general, do not feel that it was uncertain handling. I recommend these tires 100% Read more Collapse

The tires are radial - virtually all 4 pieces in varying degrees. Confirmed by two editors, unfortunately, missed the first when the tire ("concert, let Mr. vehicle"). Did not work. Please be careful, apparently Dunlop has quite a large dissemination of qualitative and need to check each room (now I know ...). Even great driveability, noise also very good. If it is not w / problems, recommend with a clear conscience. Read more Collapse

tires for its quiet, comfortable size. Great inequality picks. Nothing will shake like it did in the case of Bridgestone which were new. Well, it collects twists, does not break and I have a heavy auto and 200 ponies. combination of sporty handling and comfort. They look nice on felach. When the Pirelli P6000 is a shock to the ears. I do not think my car can go quietly. Great tyre undertake great in all conditions, except for winter (judging by the tread). Winter tires before you start, do not be surprised at the beginning of precipitation. Recommended tire at a promotional price. The normal price is probably better to change the 15 "wheels, with the change, and it will come out cheaper. Read more Collapse

Previous summer tires Continental PREMIUM CONTACT was 5, and I think with the Dunlop Sport Maxx RT are much quieter than Continentalów. As for grip on wet and dry pavement think they are at a very similar level. I even wondered about Yokohama Advan 105, but do not have the protective backsplash size 205 / 55x16. For this Dunlop are made in Germany and you need to support industry in Europe. Read more Collapse
