The key task for its designers was to ensure that the new tyre retained all of its predecessor's features, which had been popular among drivers, while at the same time remedying any potential shortcomings.
This resulted in a model that allows drivers to save money not only when purchasing the tyre (outstanding performance at an attractive price), but also over its lifetime (slow wear and low rolling resistance, which means that the vehicle consumes less fuel).
