Do you like dynamic driving? Are you looking for a reliable premium tyre to rely on in winter? To meet these expectations, Goodyear has developed the UltraGrip Performance + model for high performance cars.

Goodyear UltraGrip Performance + features a directional tread pattern that is indispensable for the winter season. V-shaped blocks and wide grooves, both longitudinal and transverse, are designed to drain water from underneath the car. This is an extremely important function that reduces the risk of aquaplaning . The car does not slip in the wet and it is easy to control the driving trajectory.

The tread pattern used is also ideal for manoeuvring at higher speeds. This translates into improved manageability. Massive blocks in the shoulder zones contribute to the excellent stability of the vehicle.

As it is a winter model, the features aimed at increasing safety in this difficult season have not been forgotten. The dense sipes network is not only an additional drainage system, but also a factor that improves grip when driving on snow.


The secret of any good winter tyre is the rubber compound composition, and Goodyear uses the latest in this respect. The UltraGrip Performance + model uses two technologies:

  • Winter Grip - high flexibility in low temperatures guarantees maximum traction on snow and ice,

  • Traction Protect - enriched with a new resin compound increases grip and braking performance.
