The new summer tyre option by Uniroyal from the Rainsport series is a very good choice for customers looking for a mid-range product with very good technical parameters.
Uniroyal Rainsport 5 is designed primarily for driving in difficult weather conditions, particularly in heavy rain. The brand is well known for the manufacture of tyres adapted for safe driving on wet surfaces. This particular model is dedicated to passenger cars and 4x4s.
Good grip when struggling with wet surfaces is primarily provided by the asymmetric tread, whose two-way grooves drain water very quickly. Furthermore, the tyre was equipped with the Shark Skin technology, to prevent aquaplaning and new version of lamellas - Aqua-Twist, expanding in such a way as to increase safety and controllability, even after partial wear of the tread.
Compared to the previous model - RainSport 3, the tread has also gained greater abrasion resistance. The tyres are also quieter.
