The Yokohama Geolandar CV 4S G061 is a premium all-season tyre with features that will satisfy discerning drivers who expect confident car handling in all weather conditions. It was developed for use in SUVs and crossover vehicles, which are designed for heavy-duty use and conceal considerable engine power under the hood.
For safe driving all year round
The Geolandar CV 4S G061 uses an asymmetrical tread pattern with clearly separated zones with different block shapes, responsible for confident handling in specific weather conditions. The inner section allows safe driving on wet and snowy surfaces, without the risk of slips. The outer sectors, on the other hand, are responsible for dry road travel.
Zigzagging grooves for better traction on wet and snowy surfaces
In addition to the visible blocks, the tread design features numerous grooves and slots of varying appearance. The ones shaped in 3D and visible in the middle work well during various precipitation conditions. Water or snow is also discharged through the widest channels going around the tyre and drained from the front. This treatment has the effect of reducing the risk of aquaplaning
Advanced microsilica and polymers for proper adhesion
Technologically advanced microsilica has been added to the rubber compound, which has a significant effect on maintaining traction on dry surfaces. In addition, numerous polymer bonds with closed silica joints improve handling quality on both wet and snow-covered roads to ensure safety in difficult weather conditions. Energy losses are also reduced, resulting in a lower rolling resistance.
