Ford Fiesta

The Ford Fiesta is a B-segment passenger car and one of Ford's longest-running models. First introduced in 1976, the Fiesta was developed in response to the 1970s oil crisis, which created a demand for compact, fuel-efficient city cars. Designed specifically for urban driving, the Fiesta has evolved significantly over more than four decades and is now in its seventh generation. Available as a three- or five-door hatchback, the Fiesta is also offered in a commercial variant known as the Courier. Since its launch, the model has been equipped with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines to suit various driving needs. Initially perceived as a car primarily for women, the Fiesta's image shifted with the introduction of the sporty XR versions. The first Fiesta XR featured a powerful 1.6-litre Kent engine producing 86 hp. Later performance variants, including the ST edition, pushed the boundaries further, with the ST delivering an impressive 150 hp. The seventh-generation Fiesta shares design elements with the Ford Focus and Mondeo, offering a modern and dynamic appearance. Engine options include petrol units: 1.25 16V (60 and 82 hp), 1.4 16V (96 hp), and 1.6 16V (120 hp), as well as diesel engines: 1.4 TDCi (68 hp) and 1.6 TDCi 16V (75, 90, and 95 hp). To enhance driving comfort, the latest Fiesta features several innovations, including a Bluetooth-enabled audio system compatible with MP3 players and a keyless entry system that allows the car to be unlocked via a button on the door handle, eliminating the need for a traditional key. It's important to note that tyre sizes can vary between different generations of the Fiesta—for example, the Mk6 may require different tyres than the Mk7. Choosing the correct tyre size is crucial for safety and performance, so always select tyres that match your specific model and driving style.

Depending on the version, the original tyre sizes for the Ford Fiesta include: 135/80 R13, 145/80 R13, 155/70 R13, 165/65 R13, 165/70 R13, 165/65 R14, 175/65 R14, 185/55 R14, 185/55 R15, 195/50 R15, and 195/45 R16.
