The main change compared to its predecessor was the floor platform, which in this version was borrowed from Peugeot (a sibling model is, for example, the 2008). The car has primarily changed visually. In addition to the modern and attractive silhouette, the external dimensions have also increased. The car grew to 406 cm in length and 176 cm in width, and along with that its weight also increased (from 1055 to nearly 1550 kg). This time, customers had only three 1.2 l engines and one 1.5 l diesel engine to choose from, producing from 75 HP to 130 HP. The semi-automatic gearbox disappeared from the lineup, while an 8-speed manual version appeared. Access to 5- and 6-speed manual transmissions was also retained. In 2020, the Corsa-e entered the range - an electric car with 136 HP, equipped with a 50 kWh battery. Thanks to it, the car could travel up to 340 km on a single charge.
