During the summer i wondered which tyres to choose for a long time. First, i went with the assumption that the tyre is not part of the car that deserves to go cheap on. Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 tyres surprised me very much. I thought only Michelins can be this comfortable and quiet. Been driving my Passat B-5 with 195/65 15 winter tyres and had a hard suspension of that car. Such charm i thought. Well, you have to get used to. Then i've purchased the 16 inch wheels by accepting low-profile tyres and suspension at the same time expected the comfort to worsen. After mounting the Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 the hard suspension of the Passat has changed to very comfortable. Noise disappeared and overally you can experience pleasant behavior of the car on these. I can estimate that these are one of the best tyres i've ever had. Tried some fast track Driving in normal conditions -.... tyre works superbly in the rain feels that car grips to the the road nicely - So far not a slingle skid on the wet since 2000 miles driven. Recently changed wheels on my Audi A4 and through feedback and ADAC test i decided to buy Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 tyres in the size of 205/55/R16. In dry conditions it is clearly visible that they are improved when comparing to my previous Bridgestones and the braking distance is also reduced. In the recent wet weather i haven't experienced any trouble. Very stable and secure to handle. When it comes to tread wear it is difficult to say - traveled less than 2000 miles so far. The tyre is quiet, even at high speeds. In the corners there are no problems. Leading performance. I recommend Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 to all those who want a tyre at a reasonable price, not that quality differs from the more expensive or Michelins or Continentals. Quiet tyre, good dampening on uneven roads , beautiful appearance. They do so well in the dry that i don't even swith my ABS on. On wet roads they behave very well too. After driving 3500 miles it looks almost like a new tyre. In addition, my next tyres will also be Bridgestones. I think these are a bit underrated for some reason. Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 tyres are a revelation. Because i do only 15,000 miles each year, of which half during summer tyres and ther half during winter, i decided to invest once and for all. I did not expect the difference between the tyres can be so high, especially when it comes to wet braking. To date, despite several times of emergency braking i've never experienced any danger. Traction is always good at all times. Soft and quiet tyres. I can also see that fuel consumtion dropped by approx 5%. I highly recommend Bridgestone Ecopia EP150. Read more Collapse
