Bridgestone Turanza AllSeason 6 tyres are a really pleasant surprise. In summer, they drive like summer tyres, they are stable, dynamic and quiet. On wet surfaces, they grip the road well, the car doesn't skid or slide. In winter, it's exactly the same. You feel safe and in control of the car. I would definitely recommend them for city driving in winter. Of course, if you live in the mountains, you probably wouldn't even consider all-season tyres, and you'd be right. The tyre itself is a pretty thing and has an interesting tread pattern. The rim protector provides slight protection for the wheel. The tyre looks a little strange (different from the standard), but that's because it has a rim protector over the wheel arch - it prevents the rims from rubbing against the kerbs (simple, but genius). The tread is a bit noisy, especially at high temperatures, but after a few hundred kilometres you don't hear it anymore - Michelin tyres were quieter - they handle brilliantly in all road and weather conditions, on snow and water you need a little less gas and you don't even know it's wet. I've driven 4,500 km on these tyres and so far there are no signs of wear. The most important criterion for me when evaluating tyres is grip on wet surfaces. It seems that the tyres perform very well in this respect. The car is neither oversteering nor understeering when cornering. I have not experienced any wheel slip on wet surfaces during rapid acceleration, braking or cornering. Read more Collapse

Switching from 7-year-old (so maybe hardened?) Dunlop Winter Sport 5 winter tyres, I had the impression that these Turanzas were very soft. However, braking on wet surfaces – which was the main reason I bought them – is fantastic. We'll see how they perform in winter, although we probably won't get much snow. Handling is very good. The tyres are excellent on snow, but perform poor on slush, the car does not grip the road well. When I drive off a gravel or rocky road, lots of stones get stuck in the tread and “rattle” on the road. You have to pull them out by hand because they won't come out on their own, they just get worn down to the tyre and stay there. Read more Collapse
