    Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D is a real class. These were the best winter tyres I have ever had. Gread grip, excellent performance in mud and snow. No real problems with balance and fittment. I have done 15000 miles on these tyres and the treadwear is something which makes me concern, but it is worth buying definetely. The car I had put them on was Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback and there were no problems with stability of the vehicle. They were simply fantastic. And also the price was good. Read more Collapse

    Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D is ideal for urban winter conditions as well as on highways and mountain roads which are covered with snow and ice. Even when driving agressively it is hard to lose control. While driving on mountain turns the vehicle is stable. The aquaplanning is something which this tyre does not know about.     Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D are worth the highest marks. I have the same tyres on my Ford Galaxy and they are really cool. Their only drawback is a treadwear. With such good grip (really good), after two winters and 20000 miles the treadwear was about 50%, but maybe they will survive one more season. Read more Collapse

    Good performance in wet and ice, no real experience with snow. On all year as they do not appear to wear over the (wet!) summer months. Technical description: The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D is a winter tyre that offers a versatile performance. Drivers using these tyres can expect excellent performance on all types of winter roads, optimal driveability on icy surfaces, superb control and grip on wet roads and substantial fuel savings as the tyre's design ensures economical use.

One element that helps the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D perform so well on winter roads is its design combined with a very high quality rubber compound noted for its excellent grip. The model therefore drives well in any winter conditions. Very good traction on ice and snow is due to the innovative tread design and the huge number of gripping edges on the tread blocks. Thanks to the additional deep sipes in the central part of the tread, the tyre performs exceptionally well when accelerating, braking and climbing uphill.

The directional grooves making up the tyre's tread pattern perform effectively in rain or thawing conditions. Since the tyre is noted for its light construction and is made from an innovative compound, it uses less energy and therefore consumes less fuel, making it more environmentally friendly as it produces fewer CO2 emissions.

Information about the manufacturer: It all began in 1888 when John B. Dunlop developed the pneumatic tyre. A year later the company already had its first victory under its belt in bicycle racing. Similar and even greater successes were to come many more times in the brand's history. In 1948 Dunlop presented the first tyre that did not lose air, even when punctured. Dunlop is currently owned by the American Goodyear group and the Japanese group Sumitomo.

  • The warranty period for passenger, light truck, 4x4 and motorcycle tires is 5 years from the date of purchase or from the date of manufacture,
  • Warranty period for Goodyear and Dunlop branded truck tires - 4 years from the date of purchase (if you have proof of purchase) or 5 years from the date of manufacture - the warranty does not cover tires older than 8 years),
  • The warranty period for Sava and Fulda brand truck tires is 3 years from the date of purchase (if you have proof of purchase) or 4 years from the date of manufacture - the warranty does not cover tires older than 8 years old,
  • The warranty covers defects related to the quality of workmanship, materials or structure,
