The Hankook Winter i*cept evo 4 W340 is designed for everyday driving on snow, wet tarmac and frozen surfaces. It is a premium winter tyre for passenger cars, featuring a directional tread pattern with wide lateral grooves and an extensive siping system. The Balance Grip Compound, enriched with silica, also ensures grip at low temperatures. 

According to Hankook, this tyre offers an 11 per cent improvement in acceleration on snow and a 4 % improvement in handling on snow-covered surfaces compared to the previous generation of tyres. Design changes have also improved efficiency and durability. The manufacturer highlights lower rolling resistance, an improvement in energy efficiency rating from C to B, and 15 per cent greater wear resistance compared with the previous generation.
