I was a bit sceptical at first, but I've already had the opportunity to brake in heavy rain and I really have no complaints. I haven't driven in winter yet, I mainly drive in the city. I was pleasantly surprised that they are quiet and the car responds to steering extremely precisely. I have a second car and I'm replacing all the wheels on that one. After winter, I'll decide whether to buy a second set (that one is used for longer journeys). If that option is available, I'll add something in winter. Read more Collapse

The tyres are very quiet and the grip is good on both wet and dry surfaces. They are comfortable but also quite stiff in teh corners. I can't comment on driving in snow because last winter was what it was. I previously had a set of premium all-season tyres and I don't see much of a difference between them. They perform very well for all-season tyres. I am not an aggressive driver, so I am not able to assess them in extreme conditions. If you are looking for year-round tyres for a passenger car but want to save money, the Imperial All Season Driver model should be of interest to you. What are the characteristics of these tyres?

Directional tread - perfect for both the summer and winter season. By positioning the grooves at an angle, water or other debris, such as slush, are quickly removed from underneath the tyre. This reduces the risk of aquaplaning and allows you to control your car even under adverse conditions.
The sipes network - a distinguishing feature of winter tyres. It allows the car to move on snow and ice, maintaining traction even when starting and braking.
Large blocks - their task is to maintain grip on dry surfaces.
