Imperial Ecodriver 3 185/55 R16 83 V

I've switched to Imperial Ecodriver 3 from Conti SC5 so my standards aren't exactly low. I'm riding a lot so usually the tyres won't last much longer than a single year, but these will probably stay longer as their compound is stiffer (so they don't stick as well as Contis). I got 2.0 petrol engine with 200 hp and Imperials don't cope as well as Contis with such power both on wet and dry (but later got informed those are meant for slower cars and ecodriving). No wonder that C SC5 got better grip than those. I've had a Linglongs once so i thought that Imperial Ecodriver 3 would be fine but they are made for less powerful cars. On the bright side their price is excellent, they're very quiet and comfortable. I won't buy ecodriving tyres for my car again. It's better topay some more and have a better-known brand. I tested a lot of tyres in my life with a different cars and so, frankly, I didn't notice a significant difference between Imperial Ecodriver 3 and other tyres. The difference was rolling resistance, but when driving only occasionaly outta town but mostly in it, the tyre performs just dandy. I did not notice a sudden wear on the tread, it has a good grip, and the noise is moderate at best. For people who have a similar style of driving as I do, the city + occasional trip these tyres are really ok. No mishaps on a vacation trip with my family. Read more Collapse

Imperial Ecodriver 3 are hard to drive in the wet conditions. Three out of four tires purchased were egg-shaped and a pulsating while driving. You can't go above 65 miles/h. I'll try to make a complaint and see what's producer gonna say. Even in case that there was no factory defect, the grip on the wet rules out buying them again. Great quality compared to the price. At first I was afraid of this product because the price seemed too low, but after reading reviews about Imperial Ecodriver 3, I decided to take my chances and luckily don't regret it. I drove like 6k-7k miles and I can honestly recommend these tires to all those who don't want to pay too much. Read more Collapse

It surprised me that Imperial Ecodriver 3 are so quiet. Plus they are comfy as you don't feel any bumps on the road and what's even more important the grip on the wet is excellent. I was thinking those are gonna be way worse given the price i paid. It's hard not to recommend those to others. Read more Collapse
