    Opinion from outside IE

Hi, this is my second season on Pirelli multi-season tyres (over 20,000 km) and five seasons behind me on Michelin Crossclimate 1st gen tyres (over 60,000 km), so I think I can already say something about multi-season tyres. As far as the Pirelli is concerned, the tyres perform very well on dry and wet surfaces. No slipping when starting off or braking. The tyres go safely over puddles and the car drives with confidence. In snow and slush, the tyres do not perform as well. It is important to bear in mind that you are driving on multi-season tyres and to plan your manoeuvres in advance. Tyres perform well in heavy snow and slush. When starting off dynamically, there are times when the wheels can spin on the spot, and when dealing with howled and more icy snow on sharp bends, I gently feel the rear of the car oversteer. For the current winters we have in our country, I think the tyres are adequate. Among the annoyances is the noise the tyres make. According to the specification they are 1dB quieter than the Michelin CC tyres, yet you can actually hear more noise when driving. I didn't check the condition of the tread when I fitted the tyres, but they currently have about 6.5mm of tread, if we assume that new tyres have about 8/9mm of tread this could indicate that within 3 years of use the tyres will have worn down. I can also say something about the life expectancy of multi-season tyres. It is known that each car and the driving style of the owner will affect the life of the tyres. As far as I'm concerned, with driving over 15,000 a year, Michelin tyres started to lose their properties in winter after the 3rd season of use. On dry and wet pavement I didn't notice much difference. However, in the winter with snowfall the car was already less sure of handling and you had to concentrate hard on driving the car. I changed to winter tyres in my fifth driving season and, while there were still no problems on dry roads, driving in the snow in winter risked an accident. All in all, I recommend multi-season tyres, but you have to be sensible when using them (you know, for example, that with 300 horsepower and 450 nm of torque such tyres will be a bad choice). I am very pleased with my purchase of the Cinturato All Season tyres. I have been using them for several months and they meet all my expectations. The tyres have excellent grip on both dry and wet roads. Even in difficult weather conditions, such as rain, I feel confident and safe behind the wheel. The driving comfort is at a high level - the tyres are quiet and absorb road irregularities well. Tread wear is even, which is testament to their high quality and durability. In addition, the tyres have a positive effect on fuel consumption, which is very important to me. I also appreciate the aesthetically pleasing appearance, which blends well with my car. All in all, I would recommend these tyres to anyone looking for reliable, safe and durable tyres for their car. I will definitely opt for them again in the future. Read more Collapse

Very good value for money and handling characteristics. Compared to the dedicated P zero HN, in the dry obviously a big difference in favour of the Zero, but in most standard situations at even lower temperatures and on slippery surfaces they are much quieter and hold up very nicely in winter in urban conditions and on the road. The ride is confident, comfortable, if you can say that with a car like this, and on top of that the fuel consumption is much lower, up to 20%, which in the case of the N makes all the difference in everyday use. It's not some super performance, but they still surprised me a lot on the plus side when driving dynamically. Read more Collapse

I was looking for the best tyres for me, these were the ones I fell for and I do not regret it. I have heard many reviews of all-season tyres, many of them negative, but fortunately I decided to test them myself. The tyres perform brilliantly on both dry and wet surfaces. Snow, ice - it's decent - here, on the other hand, it's not just the tyres that are important, but mainly your own skills and switching on your thinking. I drive both moderately and dynamically and cover a lot of kilometres. In my opinion, these are the ideal tyres for people who live in off-mountain areas. Read more Collapse

Tyres after buying in the first season felt great on snow and mud. Felt like I could drive everywhere, extra traction. But the following year it kept getting worse and worse. This winter, it's very slippery, poor grip on snow. As for fuel, it does poorly too. At least they're quiet and in normal summer conditions perform great, even in the rain. Average for the price, I wouldn't take again. Read more Collapse
