I have transferred my review from a public forum. I have decided to buy the Pirelli SnowControl 3 tyres, which price was really good taking into consideration their quality. I have done almost 1,500 miles on them and they are fabulous! Even during slowing down from max speed in low temperatures they provided me with a stable handling. The ABS system did not have to activate. I am still waiting for a serious winter conditions so I will be able to test these tyres precisely. I can say that the tyres are very good in corners both in wet and dry weather conditions. They provide a great grip in snow and slush. The only drawback is the higher fuel consumption but from I know all winter tyres contribute to an increased onsumption of fuel so it is rather normal. I have decided to buy these tyres mainly because I have read that they are good on wet surface. I am driving mostly in the city so I am not interested in their performance in a pure snowy conditions. I am not dissapointed by their quality. The tyres behave extremely good in winter conditions. What is more, they are quiet and comfortable. I have not noticed an increased fuel consumption but I have not made a sufficient mileage so I cannot rate this aspect. When it comes to driving in snow, I have been to the Czech Republic by car and I had to drive in deep snow. These tyres helped me not to get stuck. I do not have any objections.
