Pirelli SottoZero Serie 3 195/55 R20 95 H XL

I was pondering the purchase of the winter tyres for a long time and i'm quite happy that i chose Pirelli SottoZero Serie 3. I was a little afraid to fit a budget tyres to the heavy car with rear-wheel drive so instead i went for these. It is true that the winter was not too severe, but it snowed a few time and i didn't get buried, even once especially when i was driving through some forrest roads. As you may know you won't skid while driving the rear drive unless you want to. For they are fine for a moderate driver. I had to disable the ESP because I wasn't able to do a 180 turn when parking next to my house :) After driving one season they still look like new. Mounted Pirelli SottoZero Serie 3 in the size of 255/45/19 in 2014. In the beginning of winter in March 2015 I've had almost 10,000 miles covered and I am happy with these tyres. When mounting and balancing maximum weight that was used was 15 grams, I do not feel vibration or anything like that. With Dynamic acceleration (350 hp) I didn't experience any skidding on either dry or wet. It is difficult to assess the benefits of winter tires on snow and ice that winter 2014/2015 was exceptionally mild for drivers and therefore couldn't have had any real issues. The car handles very well, but it can also be the due to A8 D4 and air suspension, though, even in fast tight turns and fast is not necessary to expect to correct the track. I'm very impressed with the Pirelli Sottozero 3, after using Nokian and Verdestein tyres during winters and I was a bit worried to go to PIRELLI but they were available at great price and had good reviews. I did not know how they would be on a 245 than my previous 18 vehicles were much narrower 16-inch wheels. Took on a very steep slope after a heavy snow shower one evening. the tyre chewed through and would slip at very high acceleration. No other 2WD vehicle made up the hill. Very quiet on the highway. Excellent in the dry, it is better in the wet, but certainly not real issues. I highly recommend it if you can get them at good price. Pirelli SottoZero Serie 3 tyres were bought recently, but I can clearly say that they are excellent! I have bmw e60 with a power of 218hp, tested those with the "H" symbol, which are limited to 210km / h, but to test these and their strength and noisei had to go beyond 240km / h. Noise - quiet tires, great ride. Adhesion - I have not had a situation where I can check 100% of the grip, but sharp turns and dynamic driving are no problem for these rubbers. The best winter I have had so far. As for the durability i have too little to say about them... yet. I will know more after some more mileage. Price for quality as for me at 6! At first glance, you can see that the Pirelli SottoZero Serie 3 tyres are of high quality which was also recognized by a mechanic who fitted them. If someone wants to experience how different the grip can be on your own skin, I would recommend exactly that. Dry and wet road are indistinguishable, slush is practically imperceptible. Driving on snow is slightly worse but only a bit. The worst is the clay mud - tires advise to deal with it, but the difference compared to summer tires is minimal. The main disadvantage is the tyre noise level. I must admit I underestimated what it can be in case of these tyres. It does sound as though the wind was whisltling at a high volume. Read more Collapse
