Uniroyal WinterExpert 255/55 R18 109 V XL, FR

I’ve been using Uniroyal WinterExpert tyres since this winter season and I’m very pleasantly surprised. The tyres perform very well on both wet and dry surfaces. The car handles stably, and when there’s more water on the road, you can see that they disperse water effectively and there’s no problem with aquaplaning. They also perform very well on snow – acceleration and braking are confident, and the car remains predictable even in poor conditions. In everyday driving, they provide a sense of safety and comfort. Additionally, the tyres are relatively quiet for winter tyres and seem to be durable. For the price, they offer really good value for money. Excellent winter tyres – safe and quiet. I highly recommend these tyres. They’ve mastered what matters most in winter conditions to perfection: • Confidence on wet roads: Very good grip on slippery surfaces and rapid water dispersion. Even in deep puddles, the car doesn’t lose stability. • Comfort: The tyres are surprisingly quiet, which is a huge advantage with a winter tread – travelling on the open road is pure pleasure. I rate these tyres very highly, considering their price and quality. My only criticism is their handling on snow; it’s slightly worse than on the Continental Winter Contact TS870. The car handles well and confidently on these tyres. They aren’t noisy; the only downside is that fuel consumption has increased by 1 l/100 km compared to Continental summer tyres. The tyres perform very well whether on snow, wet or dry roads. The car handles predictably on them. Braking distance on slippery surfaces is good. The tyres have a rim protector. They’re a bit noisy on dry surfaces, but I haven’t yet come across any winter tyres that don’t make a fair bit of noise on dry tarmac. Read more Collapse

I’ve tested these tyres this year in all conditions – even on snow, slush and normal snow, and even on icy roads. They passed the test with flying colours in every condition. I wholeheartedly recommend these tyres, especially as their price isn’t excessive given their quality! Read more Collapse
