I had the Accelera X-Grip Snow on my Renault Grand Scenic when we had the worst winter in decades. Let's just say that our car got stuck one time in about 3 feet of snow, but after a quick dig with a shovel there was already enough grip to get me to work. Handling and braking on snow, ice or slush was incredibly better than with summer tyres. While traffic was crawling at 5mph, I drove around them at almost normal speeds - people must have thought I was crazy to do that. Stopping at intersections was no longer a stressful experiencce, you can feel the assist of the ABS and then you just stop. My 4x4 has better traction to get uphills, but my Renault can still get the job done. More importantly though, with the Hankook X-Grip SNow I have you will stop and turn very well on snow or ice. My 4x4 will have these tyres before next winter.
