These tires give me great confidence in both wet and dry conditions but especially in wet and muddy conditions, such as country lanes. I have not had the opportunity to test them in the snow again. I am impressed by the fact that they have a depth of tread when new 9mm however. I have driven about 2,000 miles on them so far with mixed driving and they are always on 9mm. I have nothing negative to say about these tires and I recommend them to anyone looking to buy a decent winter tire.

Falken HS449 is a strong winter tire at a reasonable price. For dry and in the wet, the tire provides enough responsibility. Also in snow tire makes a good impression. Only the road noise is a bit louder than the high-end manufacturers - in my opinion, but still unjustifiable degree.
