Very Good dry weather performance. Good wet weather performance. Not as noisy as previous continental contact sport 5's. Not good at getting the power down from a standing start. Lots of wheelspin when taking off. Especially in the wet. Car is a standard VW Mk5 GTI.

Average tires, especially not anything they can be criticized except that expensive for these properties, and the tire significantly away from the sides (swimming), harder than Potenza. It is good that protects the diatribe helpful rim.

Brand new tyres in size 235/45 R18 XL 98V fitted at the beginning of April 2014. Now its end of August and after doing around 15K km tyres needs to be changed. Especially the once for the back axle. Generally tyres are quiet and breaking on the wet surfaces is perfect, however I didn’t feel confident, if it comes to the handling. Been at the garage few times to check if ther is everything ok with a suspension and traction. I was slightly disappointed as my Ford S-Max 240 BHP behave on road like old Laguna. My previous tyres from Continental were much better, last longer and more safe to drive.

Vert attractive price. I bought Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 on the internet for the very first time. I read a bit on the internet and tyres have good reviews not only in the UK. I decided to buy them. Good traction, I have been running these for 400 miles now on my Seat and honestly I have found them to be an excellent tyres. Good price, good quality and I think it’s worth to spend a little more money to have good and feel safe. My car looks nice and I think I’ll buy a set of winter tyres the same brand as well.

Nice ride compared to the Original Bridgestone Run Flats that came with the car. Road noise is very noticeable compared to the Bridgestones though. I had to check to make sure they were put on the right way but seems that the F1's are not directional tyres. Cornering is good but sometimes I didn't feel confident at speed on roundabouts. Absolutely no grip in snow. They F1's seem to be wearing well.
