I had 4 tyres ContiSportContact-5 225/45 R18 95Y XL they were good grip on a dry road, but on wet roads they did not stick so well. They were very loud and I ride 120km / h 160km / h and they died very quickly because I only had 12 months. Now I have Goodyear Efficientgrip 225/45 R18 a few months are very good to stick on a dry road and on a wet road. They are quieter than the previous ones which I had. How long will I have? I am on my second set of these. Ride and handling very good. I usually replace all 4 at once and I switch from front to back every so often to even out the wear. You'd need to drive very hard to break dry grip. I'll be buying these again next time. Wet grip is also very good.
