In the dry they are superb for high performance cars. I found that in the colder / damp conditions they require a little heat in them to feel confident. In wet conditions I can't comment as with 550hp and rear wheel drive it's unfair to any tyre.

Sutible for fast road driving during the colder months, retains high levels of grip in standing water. Hasn't been tested on snow yet, but based on the tread pattern and tyre compound should have no issues whatsoever. Also grips with no issue in muddy fields.

The main reason for buying these tyres for me is that BMW recommend them, besides this they are excellent. Loads of grip, hard wearing. Also excellent price from Oponeo. Super quick service too!

Came with the car from factory and I would never put different tyres on. Very impressed with the tyres in the dry. Not the best in the wet, but once you have some heat in these, the car can be like glue to the road. Also last longer than expected.

In my opinion, considering the price and the results of the test the Michelin Pilot Super Sport definitely isn't overrated. For me it performs better than its previous model. Definitely better when it comes to traction, and the wear is improved too. Surprisingly positive force of the tire. The resistance to abrasion and impact is fine. I would recommend these tyres, they are great.
