Nokian WR A3 was the first set of tyres which I bought to my car. With the car I have bought Hankook I-cept, which was not very good. I have heard that Nokian tyres are designed in Finland, so they know for sure how to deal in the winter conditions. In the winter conditions the Nokian tyres are behaving very good, there is no point to compare them with the Hankooks. Maybe they are a little too soft, but perfect for snow, specially for the long trip with a high speed. The only disadvantage was, that I had to balanced them twice (second time after 1500 miles). I have not noticed the tread ware after this season. For the users who like to work fast and aggressive type of driving, I would recommend Nokian with the higher speed index.
