I have changed my old Semperit Speed Life tyres for these Toyo Proxes T1-R. The size is 215/50R17. All Toyo tyres are characterized by an outstanding grip on a dry surface. They are very predictable on a dry road. They are not so good in a wet weather but I think it may be connected with a vehicle weight. Probably in lighter cars they do their job a way better. The Toyo Proxes T1-R tyre is a bit louder than its predecessor. But it is not a disadvantage. After doing about 3500 miles I have noticed the first signs of wear. They were a bit loud at the beginning but now everything is ok. I think they rather should not be mounted on heavy vehicles (the weight of my Vauxhall Vectra is over 1,5 t). Generally speaking, these are good tyres for good money. If you have a compact car, I would like to fully recommend the Toyo Proxes T1-R. I you have a bigger vehicle, I would think twice before making a purchase as they are not so perfect in wet conditions. In my opinion, there are no ideal tyres for rainy weather but I can see a clear difference between my old Semperit and these Toyo Proxes in terms of their wet grip performance.

I purchased the Toyo Proxes T1-R tyres because they have been recommended to me by my firend and I do not regret my decision. My driving style is rather smooth and careful. I do not have to prove anything on the road. I noticed an increase of fuel consumption after a montage (it increased from 4,9 to 5,2l – computer indication). Sometimes the tyres are louder but I think it depends on a type of a surface. I had a dangerous situation on the road. I was driving at high speed on a corner and I thought I will wipe out but, fortunately, the Toyo Proxes T1-R helped me to stay on the road. After this terrifying moment I have decided not to repeat my irresponsible behaviour. Although I have changed my driving habits I feel much safer on the road because I know that I have best quality tyres. The only thing that could be better is the price. Lastly, these tyres look astonishingly good in my Audi A3.

Tires sensational keep in dry, very good conditions in the wet. Unfortunately, after the first emergency braking at a speed of ~ 130 kmh composed of these eggs and had to throw them away. In normal operation, consuming too quickly.

Very good price for the quality. Great grip, the car really breaks on those tires. Very quickly, the confrontation. And nobody believes that people claim that the path in the wet and the dry - probably with 1.2, in which the wheels spun in place must manually call. Auto rain slips less, but there are still mostly dry weather tires (assuming you ride faster and horses in harness).

I can safely recommend tire confidence. The only negative I noticed how this behavior in the wet. Quickly lose traction and less loses traction when braking. Cornering on wet roads is well. The mixture is very soft and with such a low profile much comfort. Highly resistant to damage caused by potholes on our roads.

A beautiful soft rubber. At higher speeds is placed on the side, but it absorbs well.

One of the best tires in this price range. - It is difficult to find something better. ;) They do not squeal a sure grip, good drainage. As for disadvantages, it may be the sound but I personally am not bothered :)

Indeed profile 50 is not ideal for my Focus but the car seems to be well on these tires! These tires are great in tight corners and during abrupt maneuvers. No squealing, sometimes they get out of hand in the rain. After 10000 km I have not noticed any signs of wear remarkable. I recommend :)

I have TOYO tires for winter and summer. I have assembled for the first time. And I think these are the best tires I have ever had. I drive since the year 1976.
