225/40/18 can not assess these very large tires. Used in the Scottish Highlands this winter and did exactly what I wanted from them. So good, in fact, they should be installed for each car here by law! My Bridgestone Potenzas fitted to my vrs Octavia got hard enough in the cold and had to come off as they turned and noisy. I do not understand some of these evaluators "who write the tires and give a good assessment of four :-) would have the characteristics of cheap tires as well as the most expensive :-) never will.
