Tyres' impact on fuel consumption

The tyre parameter that is responsible for fuel consumption is rolling resistance. The lower the resistance, the less energy is lost while driving and therefore the lower the combustion. Tyres with low rolling resistance can reduce combustion by up to several per cent. Energy efficiency is rated on a five-point scale (from the best A to the worst E) and can be found on the tyre label.
