This model is the ideal solution for mid to high-end vehicles with a high-performance engine. The Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 ensures an excellent driving experience on both wet and dry surfaces. Due to its asymmetric tread, the model quickly disperses water and maintains outstanding grip in all conditions, thanks in large part to the innovative 3D grooves, which reduce braking distances, dispersing water more quickly and thus minimising the risk of aquaplaning. This 3D technology also ensures better tyre stability.
The Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 is more resistant to deformation and mechanical damage, resulting in greater driving comfort and better overall steerability. This model is made from an innovative compound, designed to extend the tyre's lifetime and ensure good grip, whatever the weather. This all means that the Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 is also exceptionally safe when travelling at high speeds, meeting the expectations of those drivers who see this as a key issue when selecting tyres. Its improved design and optimised contours help ensure better driving stability and improved steering precision. The model also reduces noise levels thanks to a tread design that effectively muffles sound. Rolling resistance is also reduced, resulting in lower fuel consumption and extending the model's lifetime.
The Continental group not only produces tyres, but also manufactures braking systems, vehicle controls, fuel injection, tachographs and other components for the transport and the automotive industry. The company was founded in 1871 in Hanover and its headquarters are still there to this day. Alongside tyres, the company initially marketed products such as shoes, waterproof fabrics, balls and toys. The group markets its tyres all over the world, not just through its own brand but also through other brands belonging to the group, such as: Semperit, Barum and Uniroyal.

Hi everybody. I bought those tyres some time ago. The decision was made after reading lots of reviews on different websites. Now, I’ll write my personal opinion. If someone exchanged budget tyres for premium class product such as Continental, he or she would be thrilled. However, if you like to drive fast and you had Dunlop, Michelin or Goodyear tyres mounted previously on your vehicle, you may feel disappointed. Riding on Continental tyres is simply so similar that you wouldn’t feel a significant difference. It’s like comparing Mercedes with BMW. The tyres provide good traction in dry and wet weather conditions. They are comfortable and I have an impression they would be perfect for those who used to good quality products. There are no perfect tyres and these have some disadvantages as well. Their rubber compound is harder than I expected. Therefore, driving sensations may be different at the very beginning. Tyres must adjust to your vehicle’s suspension. Driving is very smooth and the barking distance is pretty short. Low rolling resistance. I heard that Subaru, Honda and Maserati enthusiasts don’t recommend these tyres for sporty driving. However, they are perfect for a VW Passat or Vauxhall Vectra, etc. The tyres are good for daily driving to work. Top quality, typical of Continental. Maybe it’s not for everyone but still worth being recommended. Next time I’ll purchase some Dunlops Bluresponse for a comparison.

We bought these tyres and mounted them on our Volkswagen Polo 9N3, 2009 and later we fitted them to Vauxhall Adam Slam 1.4. Currently, we have them in our Vauxhall Mokka 1.6, 2013. I can say that we tested these on many different vehicles! Having such knowledge I started to write reviews on the Internet just to help other people to choose the best product for their cars. The tyres are good in dry conditions, they are very quiet and provide good adhesion. However, they aren’t so good in rainy weather. I had a lot of tyres and cars in my life so it’s important for me what tyres I’m driving on. I know how to choose tyres. I learned a lot about performance, tread patterns, wet grip, braking distance and fuel economy. I put attention to UE labels. Generally speaking, I’m satisfied with quality of these Continentals. However, the tyres on our Vauxhall Mokka worn out quicker than I expected (after doing 16,000 miles). The tyres had 2.5 mm of tread left. They had around 6-8 mm when we bought the car. The overall performance on dry surfaces is good but not great. I like how they look like (they look good on a car). The tread pattern is really interesting and provides good grip. They could be a bit less expensive. All in all, they are premium tyres and you pay for quality. I don’t know if they are worth their price but their quality is undeniable. I had these several times. No it’s time for me to try something new.

These tyre has both advantages and disadvantages. If you have more than 6mm tread left, it is very good. The grip is astonishing. Driving is really comfortable even in the most demanding weather conditions. It is simply sensational in wet. You can cut puddles like a razor and aquaplaning doesn’t occur. Even when you are driving aggressively in the rain, the tyres behave like they were sticked to the road. Braking on wet surfaces is simple and safe. Tyre size 225/60 consitutes another advantage because the high profile contributes to higher comfort on the road. When they are worn out, their performance changes. It is an obvious thing beacuse this rule applies to all tyres on the market. After two seasons I had about 5.3mm of tread left and they still were behaving very well, especially in dry conditions, while braking. They are premium tyres so they must be good. Obviously, they are not cheap but they aren’t the most expensive tyres too. Even after doing significant mileage driving through puddles doesn’t cause problems and there is still no aquaplaning. The only thing is that the price could be a bit lower. In conclusion, the tyres are worth being recommended. They are doing their job better in lighter cars. They are quite durable and they look good.

My car is Alfa Romeo 156. I’ve done approximately 30,000 miles during a season. The previous tyres I had were Fulda EcoControl. I decided to buy a set of these Continentals because of various test results. I must say that after this purchase I stopped to belive in tests. The tyres are good but I’m not sure if they are worth their price as Fuldas were much cheaper and similar in terms of quality. Perhaps their durability is higher but it’s difficult to say as I need some time to check that. When they were new, their overall performance was perfect but after some time they started to loose the most significant characteristics. All in all, the tyres are still pretty cool. The only annoying thing is their squeaking when they are new (it’s getting better after several hundred miles). The fuel consumption is low as well as the rolling resistance. Their braking distance is better than I expected. I would fairly say that their quality is visible. They are really good on wet roads. Despite their price, I think the tyres are good and If somebody is looking for top quality, the Continental PremiumContact 2 is a good choice.
If any new, better tyres don't appear on the market, my next purchase will surely be Continental ContiPreminumContact 2 again. Distance traveled - not much, 10 thousand miles, so it's hard for me to give an objective assessment of all categories, especially because I did not have. any "emergency situations" on wet / dry surface. I guess the only drawback is abrasion (after a year tread loss is up to 2 mm, they should do fine for 5 seasons); supposedly they should get into aquaplaning, however I didn't notice anything (and I hope I won't!). For me, it's a good tyre, the most universal summer tyre of good quality. When buying tyres, I took into account almost all models from Nokian through Continental ContiPremiumContact 1, Pirelli (mixed opinions!) to Kleber and Barum Bravuris, maybe except Michelins (too expensive, the price is not justified by quality!). maybe only Bridgestone Turanza ER 300 are as good,. better (?), more expensive and louder. I recommend Contientals.
