Hi everybody. I bought those tyres some time ago. The decision was made after reading lots of reviews on different websites. Now, I’ll write my personal opinion. If someone exchanged budget tyres for premium class product such as Continental, he or she would be thrilled. However, if you like to drive fast and you had Dunlop, Michelin or Goodyear tyres mounted previously on your vehicle, you may feel disappointed. Riding on Continental tyres is simply so similar that you wouldn’t feel a significant difference. It’s like comparing Mercedes with BMW. The tyres provide good traction in dry and wet weather conditions. They are comfortable and I have an impression they would be perfect for those who used to good quality products. There are no perfect tyres and these have some disadvantages as well. Their rubber compound is harder than I expected. Therefore, driving sensations may be different at the very beginning. Tyres must adjust to your vehicle’s suspension. Driving is very smooth and the barking distance is pretty short. Low rolling resistance. I heard that Subaru, Honda and Maserati enthusiasts don’t recommend these tyres for sporty driving. However, they are perfect for a VW Passat or Vauxhall Vectra, etc. The tyres are good for daily driving to work. Top quality, typical of Continental. Maybe it’s not for everyone but still worth being recommended. Next time I’ll purchase some Dunlops Bluresponse for a comparison. Read more Collapse

We bought these tyres and mounted them on our Volkswagen Polo 9N3, 2009 and later we fitted them to Vauxhall Adam Slam 1.4. Currently, we have them in our Vauxhall Mokka 1.6, 2013. I can say that we tested these on many different vehicles! Having such knowledge I started to write reviews on the Internet just to help other people to choose the best product for their cars. The tyres are good in dry conditions, they are very quiet and provide good adhesion. However, they aren’t so good in rainy weather. I had a lot of tyres and cars in my life so it’s important for me what tyres I’m driving on. I know how to choose tyres. I learned a lot about performance, tread patterns, wet grip, braking distance and fuel economy. I put attention to UE labels. Generally speaking, I’m satisfied with quality of these Continentals. However, the tyres on our Vauxhall Mokka worn out quicker than I expected (after doing 16,000 miles). The tyres had 2.5 mm of tread left. They had around 6-8 mm when we bought the car. The overall performance on dry surfaces is good but not great. I like how they look like (they look good on a car). The tread pattern is really interesting and provides good grip. They could be a bit less expensive. All in all, they are premium tyres and you pay for quality. I don’t know if they are worth their price but their quality is undeniable. I had these several times. No it’s time for me to try something new. Read more Collapse

These tyre has both advantages and disadvantages. If you have more than 6mm tread left, it is very good. The grip is astonishing. Driving is really comfortable even in the most demanding weather conditions. It is simply sensational in wet. You can cut puddles like a razor and aquaplaning doesn’t occur. Even when you are driving aggressively in the rain, the tyres behave like they were sticked to the road. Braking on wet surfaces is simple and safe. Tyre size 225/60 consitutes another advantage because the high profile contributes to higher comfort on the road. When they are worn out, their performance changes. It is an obvious thing beacuse this rule applies to all tyres on the market. After two seasons I had about 5.3mm of tread left and they still were behaving very well, especially in dry conditions, while braking. They are premium tyres so they must be good. Obviously, they are not cheap but they aren’t the most expensive tyres too. Even after doing significant mileage driving through puddles doesn’t cause problems and there is still no aquaplaning. The only thing is that the price could be a bit lower. In conclusion, the tyres are worth being recommended. They are doing their job better in lighter cars. They are quite durable and they look good. Read more Collapse

My car is Alfa Romeo 156. I’ve done approximately 30,000 miles during a season. The previous tyres I had were Fulda EcoControl. I decided to buy a set of these Continentals because of various test results. I must say that after this purchase I stopped to belive in tests. The tyres are good but I’m not sure if they are worth their price as Fuldas were much cheaper and similar in terms of quality. Perhaps their durability is higher but it’s difficult to say as I need some time to check that. When they were new, their overall performance was perfect but after some time they started to loose the most significant characteristics. All in all, the tyres are still pretty cool. The only annoying thing is their squeaking when they are new (it’s getting better after several hundred miles). The fuel consumption is low as well as the rolling resistance. Their braking distance is better than I expected. I would fairly say that their quality is visible. They are really good on wet roads. Despite their price, I think the tyres are good and If somebody is looking for top quality, the Continental PremiumContact 2 is a good choice. Read more Collapse

If any new, better tyres don't appear on the market, my next purchase will surely be Continental ContiPreminumContact 2 again. Distance traveled - not much, 10 thousand miles, so it's hard for me to give an objective assessment of all categories, especially because I did not have. any "emergency situations" on wet / dry surface. I guess the only drawback is abrasion (after a year tread loss is up to 2 mm, they should do fine for 5 seasons); supposedly they should get into aquaplaning, however I didn't notice anything (and I hope I won't!). For me, it's a good tyre, the most universal summer tyre of good quality. When buying tyres, I took into account almost all models from Nokian through Continental ContiPremiumContact 1, Pirelli (mixed opinions!) to Kleber and Barum Bravuris, maybe except Michelins (too expensive, the price is not justified by quality!). maybe only Bridgestone Turanza ER 300 are as good,. better (?), more expensive and louder. I recommend Contientals. Read more Collapse
The tyres are good in terms of quality. These belong to premium segment. Continental is a really good manufacturer. When it comes to wet and dry grip, it’s simply perfect. They aren’t too noisy. I was astonished by their performance. My car has a powerful engine and the tyres are doing their job properly. I had some difficulty in balancing of these tyres but it was rather connected with the fact that I received a defective product. I purchased a new set of wheels just in case. Then I tried to balance the tyres in different fitting stations. I contacted Continental personally and received the answer that my complaint couldn’t have been considered positively and the tyres are OK. I understand that such situations happen. Perhaps if the tyres were less expensive, it wouldn’t be a big deal. The tyres are very interesting but the manufacturer’s attitude towards customer could be better. To sum up, I like the tyres and they are worth being recommended. Read more Collapse

Sometimes, I drive fast, but not always. Most of the distance I cover is made in the city, but sometimes I get to drive a route of 1500 - 2000 miles. After covering such distance the tyre was fine, but at first I wasn't satisfied. The tyres were very noisy and not very well stick to the surface, especially on wet. I had a feeling the tyres were very hard. I had the impression that the grooves of the tread are not rounded as it's determined by the profile of the tyre, but they are flat, and because of that the feeling was like you drove on rough surface. And they didn't grip well in the rain, especially on the pavement. But then they wore off a bit and adjusted. Now I can drive safely, but I don't have full confidence in them. I rate the current state, and if I assessed them after the purchase, it would be 3 - 2. Generally the tyres didn't meet my expectations fully. I had much better tyres, for example, Firestones and Pirellis. Read more Collapse

At this price, Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 is really one of the best tyres for the summer! Excellent grip in dry conditions - braking from 60 MPH with full force doesn't cause ABS to switch on. Acceleration is as good, it's hard to lose grip. In the corners they give great feeling of confidence and allow full control of the car, there are no surprises which happened to me earlier on Michelins - the car suddenly bregins to swerve off its track without any apparent reason. As for driving on wet, I think that it's good, but could be better, a large amount of water and a corner are conditions in which you need to watch out. The tyres very quiet and comfortable. I don't know what is the level of durability, two weeks after fitting I got a nail puncture - but this can be classified as "bad luck". When it comes to abrasion, after 7000 miles there is no visible sign of tread loss. Read more Collapse
I bought it in 2007 for a Passat with a 1.6 100 HP engine. Back then my odometer clocked about 60 000. Today, in August 2010 I have about 4 mm of tread, and about 120,000 on the meter. It's time for replacement. I drove only in the season. More distance was done in the summer, and I think I drove between 35,000 and 45,000 miles. I don't know if it's a good result. During that time, only once I drove on the nail and after patching everything is OK. Apart from that was no mechanical damage. As for me, they are a little too loud, and they were from the beginning. The rest is fine. Now, however, when the tread has worn off, it's very easy to get into aquaplaning and skid when braking in the wet. That's why I have to look for new tyres. I'm looking for something else. I think it's because of the noise they generate. I don't know what I'll get, maybe the next ones will be quieter. Read more Collapse

Hello, use the 3-season tire, I drove on it for more than 40 billion so I can say something. Namely, it is very good. Class itself, in dry conditions also keeps sticking, and sharp turns are not a problem at all. On wet roads can afford a bit of vertigo as tire pardons much. By puddles total right. Fear she was so colorful, while 3 had to postpone the season, back to front, handle great a price. In addition, after the spacer has a very loud noise, the back was a little rented and some will last until it matched the face. I notice also repeated properties tires mokrym.mam now about 3-4 km from the tread. That is why I drive to the end of the season. New price about $ 500 for my size. At this price I will try to break the sport blueresponse Dunlop. I hope my review was helpful to someone. Yours. Read more Collapse

Best on which I rode. Sensational in tight corners, gives a sense of confidence and inventory velocity. Rut? What rut, suddenly the car works well. In previous tires GY Ventura Ultragrip 6 is a constant struggle. Very quiet and comfortable, it hums with the high-speed corners such as Ventura and not fall into the lateral slip (with the same V) or during acceleration. Summarize the evaluation of two dry Ventura, relatively moist, which is very good. Ventura gives that appearance. Consumption would also point stronger, but Ventura did not, and I gave them 60,000. km, and they were not spared. To date, the only CA, offers to try this tyres not be disappointed. How far is great, but I'll add that after the recovery of our hole alloy wheels after I made the convergence / geometry, because in August sciely tires fairly quickly. Tire value for money though, as any armed and fast - XL 97 W very expensive. But by revelation and the eyes above the new Sport SP01 Dunlopów I had a very important reason - comfort. Removing the comparable driveability zimówką ultra soft inequality, you can afford a lot at high speeds. I travel a lot, I go back 20 years and rode a lot of tires and they are very good, because I did not say that they are brilliant. Car runs well, is probably the road. Perform well in wet conditions as a puddle of water on the sudden way - not taken immediately drag, unlike many other tires of this size! The downside is its rapid wear because after 20000 km began to feel its use while driving (especially in the wet) and 30000 km of 2 mm tread! - This is a good result for the rate of consumption with which I ride, because for example Goodyear and Uniroyal are even faster, not to mention how quickly attracted the slip! In general CPC2 recommended! Read more Collapse

Tires purchased in the spring of 2007, and from 3 season walk on them. I can honestly write that I did before buying these tires route many quotes and opinions. Ultimately, I decided to Premium Contact2 because of his criticism of handling of users, and affordable prices in this category. Now I can say that the choice was the most accurate, have virtually no objection to the use and drove over 30k. km. This may not seem impressive, but it works very well on wet and dry. It amazes me address some users trying to be assessed on the basis of the tire does not feel the driving experience, but on the basis of theoretical considerations imagined. I rode with tires about 30 ffm road most of the long time. Tire writes well on dry and wet asphalt. Review of the tread pattern indicating his bad behavior on wet proposes to abandon their own assessment. I assure you that your elbows on the firmly held. It is worth noting that the tire is very quiet. Abrasion - after 30 tread ffm default is clearly visible, but the level of 2 mm (in assessing someone) must be an exaggeration. Read more Collapse

I bought these tires a year ago (here praised the shop for such a fast and efficient market performance) and I am very happy purchase. These tires perform very well on both wet and dry which gives a very comfortable ride, even at high speed conditions. The tires are very quiet and well wygłuszają even large bumpy roads. I have a good comparison because the former also used the Continental tire "previous" generation and I must admit that this has more advantages (particularly in terms of noise). Behavior on wet and dry, especially in a very good asphalt (not talking ruts with water several centimeters, because he knows he is), the noise level is the max for me to wear 4, I can not find fault because I was riding on a set of up to 40 - 50tys (front drive axle). Already once I examined the tire and I can only say that this is a great tire for practically every way. Stable, predictable and comfortable at the same time. Perhaps a little lacking in the proverbial "lion's claw" and sports cars typically chosen would tire harder. Bemki But my 170 hp fits perfectly. One important thing is to maintain the proper pressure on one axis and come back regularly . On the back I give a little more pressure and better "after the turns." Very good tires. Aquaplaning better than winter tyres much. Quiet, soft tires. I recommend Passat owners because of comfort, taking into account the high cost of arms. I'm on the second car, formerly in the dimension 225/55 R16 and it was great, despite the size of the head is perfect. Maybe they are on the market, the less the tire wears, but certainly less comfortable and not at this price. Recommend and do not believe in fairy tales that you can have cheap and good tires. Calm tire sticks to the asphalt like a stick, niestraszne high speeds of around 200 km / hai with emergency hamowaniach with such a high speed is stable. Although asphalt is very dirty and muddy. I do not even remember the situation when the ABS is activated. Even with the start aggressive tires hold the road well. Continental tires are the best choice in terms of quality. Similar parameters were as Michelin and Dunlop. At the same time, it is inappropriate expensive Michelin and Dunlop but slightly worse.
