BluEarth VAN All Season RY61 are all-season tyres made by the Japanese company Yokohama, which is one of the industry giants. The premium-segment tyres are intended for delivery vehicles, i.e. they were created for drivers looking for reliable products. Since these are all-season tyres, you do not have to worry about changing them during the year, and the designers made sure that the model works perfectly in all road conditions.
The product is equipped with a tread with the characteristic Triple WD Groove pattern. It combines two straight side grooves for water evacuation, with a zigzag in the middle for traction on snow. To make Yokohama BluEarth VAN All Season RY61 cope with frost even better, the manufacturer used durable sipes on their shoulder. The effectiveness of these solutions in winter conditions has been confirmed by receiving the mountain certificate (3PMSF). This means that the tyre has undergone rigorous testing to check whether it is safe in adverse weather conditions.
The rubber compound used in the production of this model is also noteworthy. It is a combination of three different polymers, silica and carbon. The components guarantee tread durability, its even wear, and better protection against mechanical damage. The high amount of silica in the compound means that the tyre provides impressive performance on wet surfaces. Moreover, with its special design, the sidewall is protected against cracking.
