The designers of the Vredestein brand decided to develop premium tyres that meet the high demands of sports cars. The Quatrac PRO model is the first year-round Ultra High Performance tyre from this Dutch manufacturer.
Vredestein Quatrac PRO is designed to meet the specific requirements of high-powered vehicle drivers in every respect. From the rubber compound, through the construction, tread pattern and including the design. It wasn't easy, especially since the tyre had to be both versatile and reliable all year round.

Compound
The composition of the rubber compound is such that the tyre ensures safe driving regardless of weather conditions. It must behave properly during both summer heat and severe frosts. In order for the tyre to cope with the toughest winter conditions, the manufacturer used a compound with a high silica content.
The use of such a compound is one of the elements that allowed the model to be granted winter approval. The 3PMSF symbol, or snowflake on the background of three peaks, can be seen on the side of the tyre.
Tread design and construction
The model is designed for high engine revs operation. The tyres have been reinforced in the shoulder area to increase the stability when cornering. The three wide central ribs provide excellent steering, which is essential for dynamic driving.
To ensure optimum water flow, the tread is equipped with a system of grooves and sipes. The latter come in two types: the straight ones are designed to drain water, while the zigzag ones are extremely useful under snowy conditions. Their network improves grip and shortens the braking distance . This means that when driving on wet or snow-covered roads, the car does not skid so easily and reacts quickly to the steering wheel's commands.
Thanks to the solutions used Vredestein Quatrac PRO ensures safety even in the event of a sudden breakdown in the weather. Very good high-speed performance enables drivers to get the most out of their car.
Appearance
A tyre with such good performance must also stand out visually. Vredestein did not forget this and invited the designers from Italdesign Giugiaro to co-operate. The company is famous for its many car designs, from Fiat and Volkswagen to BMW and Mitsubishi. This co-operation resulted in tyres with a sporty character - not only technically, but also visually.
The Vredestein brand comes from Holland, where its first production plant was established in the mid-1940s.
