Previously, I had Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. Continental is much better. The tyre is more predictable. In addition, my car has a rear steering axle, and thanks to these tyres, it is much faster and safer to take corners, roundabouts, etc. I recommend them.

Purchasing Continental SportContact 7 tyres in size 245/45R18 100Y XL is definitely the right decision. The tyres offer excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces, which gives a great sense of safety, especially when driving dynamically. The new generation tread ensures very precise handling, and the car sticks to the road well in corners, even at higher speeds. Compared to previous models, there is also a noticeable improvement in driving comfort – the tyres absorb bumps well and are surprisingly quiet for a typically sporty character. The XL (reinforced) version provides additional stability under heavier loads, and the MO1 (Mercedes Original) designation confirms the high quality and compliance with the demanding standards of premium car manufacturers. In summary, the Continental SportContact 7 is a great choice for those looking for high-performance tyres with reliable handling and high durability. I definitely recommend it!

In my opinion, the tyre is much stiffer than the Pirelli P0. In addition, it has much stronger sides, which means that there are no “blisters” when the tyre is pressed against the rim on a curb or pothole. It is certainly noisier, and significantly so, especially on concrete roads ( but this is noticeable only at speeds of 150-170 km/h). As for grip it behaves similarly, I did not notice a significant difference. For that, by its rigidity, it gives the feeling of better handling and better control of the vehicle.
