The last winter was very mild so I had to wait until early March for the first snow. I tested these Continental tyres and must admit that they improved handling of my BMW MX5 not only in snow but on dry and wet surfaces as well. We only had a few inches of snow but it was enough to feel the difference between these and my previous tyres. I recommed these tyres to all drivers looking for top quality.

It’s the first time I purchased Continental tyres because their products are usually very expensive. I used to drive on Nokian tyres. They were worse in wet weather. I also had Michelin Alpin tyres, quality of which was rather average. The last tyre I tested was the Pirelli Sotto Zero which was very good. I’m driving a Toyota Avalon Limited, 3.5l. engine, 278 BHP and decided to buy a set of the Continental TS850 tyres. I must say, I’m impressed. The tyres are superb in wet conditions. Their performance in snow is simply sensational. They provide excellent grip even if you have a powerful car. The tread pattern is interesting. I’m shocked how comfortable these tyres are. They are better than my previous Pirellis which I liked a lot. I strongly recommend the Continental WinterContact TS 850 P because of their quality and astonishing performance.

In my opinion, these tyres represent great quality and marvellous performance. It’s not my first set of Continental tyres but the first winter one. I used to buy only summer tyres from this manufacturer. Now it’s time to test one of their winter products. I feel confident and comfortable, especially on wet or muddy roads. The tyres are perfect! They provide good traction. They arrived on time. I received a very good service. I will buy this particular winter Continental again. I’m very satisfied with fuel economy and quality of these tyres.
